The default Notes app is just too slow sometimes, this is a great little tools for anything related to code, you can save your lil bash script, your temp experimental code, your curl request and response.

The application has potential, but there are several significant drawbacks to consider before purchasing. The key snippet preview feature only activates with a double click, which is inconvenient for quick access. Additionally, there are no hotkeys for preview activation. A system for organizing snippets through a hierarchy of categories or tags would be beneficial. Issues with text formatting when creating new snippets can also be troublesome. While the app is unique, these aspects may limit its usefulness for some users.

I used to use EverNote to store code snippets but it seemed like it imbedded extra characters or something. I just started getting back into iOS programming and I needed something to store some bits of code. This works virtually identical to EverNote and I can store stuff locally or sync with iCloud which works perfectly because I switch from macbook to mac mini all the time. I have not had any issues with it.

The "Alfred Workflow' -> "Install Workflow" Fails to install the workflow with the error "Please make sure that the Alfred app is installed and try again" I have since Installed Alfred from the App Store, and attempted to install to no avail. Read the documentation and no mentions of this. Also tried configuring by hand to no avail.

I use this app for my code snippets and general note taking needs and it works perfectly. Half my notes are not even code related so you do not need to use this specifically for code! The search, tagging, organization and the fact a single note can have multiple tabs brings this app way above the other note taking apps. Ive tried the competition and I always keep coming back to this.

Lepton syncs with github this app does not. I would use this instead of lepton if it supported github sync automatically.

The sync functionality is completely unreliable. I've lost SEVERAL snippets multiple times now because SnippetsLab will simply fail to properly sync changes across devices. I'm using Dropbox for sync, so it might be better if you use iCloud instead, but that still wouldn't change the fact that this basically makes the app useless since it can't be trusted.

I don't use this app that often right now, but it's always there, and always works, and syncs through Dropbox or any other service. Great.

SnippetsLab has been a must have app for the personal and professional development projects for years now.

I have used the SnippetsLab app for years, every day, and it has been incredibly helpful for me to organize my information. And it has been extremely reliable.
