The powerful combination of award-winning apps and a proven method—YNAB’s Four Rules—has changed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people by teaching them to get control of their finances, stop stressing, and live the life they want to live. A Proven Method—YNAB’s Four Rules Rule One: Give Every Dollar A Job | Be intentional about what you want your money to do before you spend it. Rule Two: Embrace Your True Expenses | Break up larger, less frequent expenses into smaller, manageable amounts. By saving monthly for insurance premiums, holidays, or car repairs, when the time comes, your money is ready and waiting to do its job. Rule Three: Roll With The Punches | When life changes, so must your budget. Make adjustments and move along. Flexible budgets succeed because they’re guilt-free, realistic, and sustainable. Rule Four: Age Your Money | As you repeat the first three rules, you’ll increase the time between earning a dollar and the moment you need to spend it. When your money is at least a month old, you’ll have finally broken the paycheck to paycheck cycle for good. • Good product

I really like the YNAB. and I want to like it for five stars. But the import feature from YNAB4 is kinda broken and not sure I like all the features. Still it has become my go-to app and love it.

Love this app!!! Using YNAB has changed the course of our finances. I’ve been consistently using it for about 18 months, and I’ve given up using Quicken which allowed me to track my finances after the fact . With YNAB, I’m pro-actively making spending decisions. We no longer live paycheck to paycheck.
  • YNAB is life.

    By Merhoo
It sounds cliche, but this application/program has changed my life. It brings so much structure and organization to a life experience that wasn’t previously there. We no longer fight over money in our house. We have no mode debt (other than a mortgage) and have a system in place for funding our lives. Every time we put something on a credit card the program moves funds from our available balance to be ready to pay our bills when they come. It is brilliant—and worth every penny. The customer support is consistently helpful and they seem to really care about helping you to succeed in having a budget and living the life.
  • Best budgeting software on the market.

    By Twilightlover4444
I have tried pretty much every budgeting software there is (including Mint) and have discovered that this is the best software out there, hands down. This app has saved me HOURS of work every month, and is the key to getting out of debt and feeling in control of your finances. I love knowing how much money I actually have at any given moment. It’s a truly freeing and useful app, and the yearly membership is worth every penny.
  • Wiped my account

    By linear_circle
I bought this on the PC, Steam to be exact. Paid money for it. Now see it’s another subscription BS app. Wanted to see if I would not have to pay a subscription since I bought it. Well, my account is not found. None of my email accounts are found. So looks like my account was wiped so I have to pay a subscription.
  • Capital One isn’t compatible

    By Ifistand
I loved this app and program, but for the past month, my transactions haven’t been coming through. This renders the app useless to me. When I contacted them about the issue, they said this is a problem with multiple people who use Capital One.
  • Great!

    Nothing to complain about
  • A hate turned into a love

    By Merg97
I hate budgeting. It felt restrictive and confusing. Then I discover YNAB and couldn't be happier. It is easy to learn and has helped me stay on top of my savings goals.
  • Rip off

How can you save money with this app when they charge you to use it? How is that budgeting????
  • Doesn’t connect to my bank anymore

    By Dianaknits
I liked YNAB for the first four months, but now it hasn’t connected to my bank for 2 weeks. They say they’re working on it, and that I’m paying for the “YNAB” way, but what I wanted was a way to keep track easily of all of our transactions with automatic import. If you bank with capital one, i recommend looking elsewhere for a finance app.
