    There is so much quality content in this app and they are practically giving it away at this price point. If your tired of losing brain cells by watching conventional media, Check this out. I got it for The Great Courses but the additional content is amazing. I love the documentaries. Real documentary content and not that drivel on the Discovery/History channel.

    I wish you could create folders on the app to store your lectures. Right now it is a free-for-all and you have to dig through your Wishlist and lectures to find your different lectures. Please make creating folders to organize this, a thing.

  • Generally great, but…

    I’m a power user and have watched dozens of courses, some more than once. The app has improved over time, but has one critical flaw- though you can download courses for offline viewing, you need a connection when opening the app before you can start watching your downloaded content. I learned this recently when I tried to watch the hours of content I’d saved for a long flight and found myself unable to access anything. This is incredibly frustrating and makes the download function pointless. Please fix this for those of us who travel frequently and want to bring Wondrium with us!

  • Great service, the app is very buggy

    Fantastic selection of content, been buying these great courses since the 1990s. But the app constantly freezes, when it’s not slow and unresponsive in sections. The AppleTV version of the app constantly logs me out and requires that I log back in *every single time* I open it. Get some high quality developers!

  • No Chromecast Support

    Cast button doesn’t work. Other apps find the chromecast devices so it seems to be an issue with this app/version.

    Love the app but can you make it possible to enter the Home Screen and have the video still play on the upper right hand corner and like Netflix, hbo, and Amazon prime does. Regardless of this one suggestion, the application itself and the idea of providing amazing content on an educational basis I'm in love and find relaxing enjoyable and yet informative :)

  • Great Content, Buggy Apps

    Too many bugs and UI limits to warrant the subscription fee IMO. Some of many bugs: Captions don't work on iOS or iPad. After playing downloaded content offline, the app is unresponsive. Annoyances: Does not support remote skip back (commonly a triple click). Unable to play PIP on iPad. AirPlay does not respect alternate playback speeds. Browsing in general is slow because of loading too much media reloading.

  • Love the content organization is a big flaw

    I love the content, everything is interesting to me. That’s though is the problem. The add to watchlist is only really useful if you don’t add everything cool to it and quickly becomes overwhelming. I don’t remove things I have watched because I am likely to loose them if I ever want to review. I think a great improvement would be to add an organization feature. Maybe for easiest use, multiple customizable ones. At the very least have them sorted by the categories they are under.

  • Separating app, service, and name

    The app is barely ready for regular use as of 9/22. There are some basic features that other streaming services have, such as downloading episodes in the background while on wifi or queueing episodes to download, that are missing. Another weird bug is that it won’t download more than a few episodes at a time because, it seems after so much traffic, it thinks it is on cellular data. The service is great. A little pricey, causing me to rethink my subscription every month, but still great. The name “Wondrium” is terrible. I have nothing to add to that.

  • Wondrium no longer has captions, useless for deaf/HOH/etc.

    If you are deaf, hard of hearing, or have auditory processing difficulties that need accessibility accommodation for captioning, you will not find this extremely basic, frequently used accessibility tool in Wondrium anymore. I let my membership lapse over the summer, and when they jacked up the prices they also removed their captions, apparently. Probably because they’re more concerned with potential copyright infringement more than they are concerned with diverse populations being able to access their content. Abhorrent.
