    So I’ve been using this app for almost 5 years. I absolutely love it. I give it three stars because I don’t really ever have issues with it but every time it updates there’s always glitches in the system and more recently when someone is a late cancellation or a no-show it does not allow me to, collect the fee that I have in place and it just gives me an error code. Please fix this thank you.

    I have been with square for over 8 years. I’ve been tempted to change to another company but for no real reason. I’ve had only good experiences with square appointments and for my business. Easy to schedule. Easy to add a card on file. Easy to set up standing appointments, easy to sell and collect gift cards. It might not be flashy and trendy but it works. All the time!!!

    I genuinely LOVE square appointments and the ease of it. I rate it 1 star because the only thing keeping me from it is not allowing ease of use for businesses that NEED deposits. For a more professional experience, I decided that a 50% booking fee was necessary for my business, However square does not offer a % Booking fees or deposits- only card on file or full payment, which is not always reliable if client doesnt have the funds and i obviously dont want full payment for many reasons. I ended up sadly switching to Acuity for the 50% deposit feature alone. i hope square eventually make a paid plan include this deposit feature because i would toss acuity so quick for square being perfect w it!

    Great and stable scheduling app. Quick suggestion to developers, please bring back the Book Next feature! The new drag and drop feature does not go past current week of existing appointment.

  • Appointments will disappear

    I have been using Square since starting my small business. It’s pretty easy to use. The reason I think I am giving three stars is that I have noticed in the past year that appointments I put in will just disappear?! I will have clients walk in and show me they were sent a reminder for their appointment, but it will not show on my app. It’s beginning to happen more and more and I’m close to just going back to the old school way with a book or try a new system.

  • Can’t log in

    Works fine on my iPhone but for whatever reason it refuses to let me log in on my iPad mini, saying “invalid password or email” even though I literally just created the account 2 days ago. There’s no way the password or email is invalid. Regardless, when I go to reset my password and it says “sending instructions to your email” I never get any emails, no matter how many times I try or even reinstall the app.

    I love the app. It’s really helped me grow as a small business owner. I love the free option now but hope to grow enough to be able to have access to some of the purchase features that would greatly benefit me in the future!
