I get it that ads are money, but this app is garbage. Read a story…interrupted by ads. Listen to a program..ads run over the content you’re listening to. I Heart does the same thing. It’s 2023, sync your ads and your content. Ridiculous, especially since, after all these years, North Jersey can’t get the station except on the app (still don’t know why). Grrr.

Ads popping up endlessly. I’m trying to read about street fairs sorted by county, and as I scroll through to get to Middlesex a pop up ad forces its way into getting selected. Closing it brings me right back to the beginning of the search to start the nonsense all over again. It is an awful app based on an awful website.

Nothing but ads upon ads and when they’re done with that, more ads! Pop ups, scrolling ads, and filler….MAYBE there’s the actual article in there somewhere that I wanted to read…it’s so bad that after years of listening to the station I know exactly when to turn it off for ads and back on when the talk radio actually occurs. Shame…love this station for staying informed and the cast is great. Too many ads on the air and too many on the app. Here’s a simple solution…CHARGE MORE for ads and have fewer of them! Believe me, they’ll pay knowing you are the biggest audience in NJ. Somehow if you could—-and now a word from our sponsor…

This app wins for the least user friendly mobile app. I like the content, but many times I won’t read the story to the headlines because of the ridiculous number of pop up ads and the tendency to override other streaming apps. Oh, what a pain.

I love the traffic and weather reports in between the talk radio but lately the commercials have gotten out of control. It’s like an hour of ads for ever 5-10 minutes of talk radio.

Love my 101.5 crew, hate the app. I’ve noticed improvements but more ads all over the place. I’d rather be charged .99 for the app and no ads than to be bombarded with ads all over the place. Opening pages to direct me to the ads and have to fight to get back to the content I was trying to find. I removed the app and I listen through I heart radio. When I want to listen to them on my phone. On another note being part of a media conglomerate can the listeners please get music from this decade or even the past decade? with all ad money being generated it surly can be done. Friday and the weekends are literally the same music my grandfather took with him to his grave.

The app’s advertising has become so annoying. Most of the ads are trying to trick you into opening them by hiding how to close them. Very disappointed in NJ 101.5 for allowing that.

If you click alarm on the left side menu. it will crash the app every single time. iOS 15.6

101.5 is a wonderful station to count on for news, traffic and weather until Friday evening ….and then all we can hear is LOUSY,TERRIBLE SOMETHING THAT THE STATION PEOPLE THINK IS MUSIC….. then it becomes Monday and once again it’s a worthwhile station to listen to….…. Please improve weekends so listeners can be happy again!
