  • Returned to test 3.0

Some great improvements, still overshadowed by a giant paywall. Even after the improvements some of the catalyst / crafting systems kind of feel out of date in the extreme. No offense... but the play test was fun only because I have no plan to stick around and deal with this mess week after week. It’d probably take just about anyone 15 minutes and a notebook to draw up a better crafting / catalyst system... better relic pack, etc. Ultimate hero cost me around 250$ which sadly is an improvement. Once you forge it, you can’t dispell weakness anymore. This deck flops hard against weakness., so you have to get another Ultra Rare.. or substitute. Also you can’t use the ultimate power gem on half the summoned ultimate bosses. The only real practical place to use the new ultimate power gem is eternal inferno bosses over 1 trillion health. It seems to have a very small niche which doesn’t include ultimate bosses... you would think it would, but apparently it isn’t noble enough. Deck was more practical with the unforged 13x Heroes. I really regret not having more play time before I forged the ultimate... To evolve the ultimate hero, you need more 13x hero feeders for the extra pink stars... it turns into a money pit, which I have no interest. In all, a lot of improvements, but The deck would be alright for 50$, for 250$ it was a bit of a disappointment. Relic % is still at 3.5% and still doesn’t drop past event relics at random, only generic relics that have no real use, so a large percentage of the relic packs are 96.5% chance of rubbish, which, if the price matches the quality of the item, should have been changed a long time ago.... this is the reason ppl consistently complain about low quality merchandise with a high price. I know this game is considered technically free, however the full experience I.E. a complete deck is all but impossible / requires months and months of gem saving in order to obtain, so more than likely you are paying the converted gem rate in cash or waiting forever collecting gems for something that has to many internal issues to be comparable to the going rate / time spend saving. So content is rather restricted. Which is fine, but at the converted price to experience what 3.0 or whatever event... The deck shouldn’t have shortcomings in its own event. Best of luck to you.
  • The changes are for the worse.

I used to like playing this game but little by little it has turned into a huge scam. The developers are so money making focus that they forgot about the human factor. The only reasonably why ppl stay in this game is because the connection they have with their guild mates. The game has gotten to the point where global players are leaving because of how much money they have to spend to remain global. I have already canceled my VIP membership because I don’t want to feed these crooks anymore.
  • Big hits big misses

Gameplay is by far the best I've found in this genre, however has begun to crash more and more often mid battle during events. These events use keys that are hard to come by and when it crashes you are out of luck, no keys, no progress, just 3 steps backwards. There's also a few other kinks were things get hard right when you're close to making progress then it gets so hard you have to spend real $ to get over that level. Plenty of fun and free play though and the guild aspect can really work well when you get a good group of team oriented gameplayers. Update 2/18/19 3.0 is a step in the wrong direction. I saved up gems for 6 months to get a strong deck and spent 36,000 gems and still this team is less powerful than one I got in gen 2.0. They increased how much the pack runs cost while lowering the drop rate of useful characters. DON’T play this game unless you have tons of money and time to waste. It’s sad for me because I used to really live this game and told lots of family and friends to play, but whoever is in charge now lost sight of what made this game great. My vote, rerelease a 1.0 and start again cause y’all got lost along the way. The free play element is dead in 3.0.
  • Great game if you can spend $200 a week

    By Thefirststrategygamer
This once brilliant game has been ruined by the greed of the developers. It was always a ‘premium’ game experience demanding $50+ a week to stay competitive, but with the latest update they are calling ‘3.0’ $200 per week seems to be the new minimum. It is a disgrace! If you are looking for a free to play game this is not it. If you are looking for an affordable game. This is not it either. Every week a new hero deck is released that supersedes the last. Players have heavily invested in cards to see them made completely redundant in a matter of weeks. People are quitting the game as they are being priced out from playing. It’s horrible. Stay away for your own sanity
  • Rigged & fixed to tempt purchases

Graphically, playability, and having things to do are all great. However, after almost 3 months playing there are some things I’ve noticed. This game tends to do things (that I believe are programmed and take away from fair play) that go against how your deck is enforced. If you have gem dispell cards it tends to not work as you’ve built a load of power gems or, those power gems get cycled through random gems falling perfectly into place literally using all of the gems on the board you’ve been holding for ability hit. This happens just before the play where you can use abilities significantly reducing the overall damage and wasting keys which you are also encouraged to buy. Another issue is being in the middle of a play and having my device start saying I’ve lost connection essentially pausing the game and wasting the turn because the gem movement has been interrupted. If I had bad WiFi or this happened in any other app which requires WiFi I wouldn’t mention it. But again, I find this only...ONLY, in this particular game and happening at critical points of doing damage to a boss, not any other game, not youtube, not twitch, nothing else. I find these behaviors suspect as heck and, given they push about 15-25 different types of purchasable card and/or relic packs per week for a variety of events, I tend to lean towards dirty devs. I’d pass on this game, it’s a cheat and I believe a scam.

I have played this game for one year. The developers have presented the community with LGoH 3.0 and many of us are quitting. They have failed to meet the expectations of the community. This company has no plan for the future of this game other than to let power creep force large expenditures due to older cards becoming obsolete. Any money you spend on this game will have little value after the event for that week is complete. Many of us had our entire card collections devalued by the 3.0 release. N3twork has no interest in working with their community of players to make a game where cards maintain value and has not followed through on their promises. This game is a money pit and I would advise against the download.

  • Zero customer support

    By Wasted $10,000+ for nothing
Email the company for support, ticket was closed 5 days later with no response. I’d say worst costumer service but there wasn’t any. 0/10 Don’t waste your money it’s a scheme.

In Legendary game of heroes you will face many challenges. How will you overcome them? By spending money; lots and lots of money. Legendary tests the limits of your bank account and not much else. Players can drop as much as $500 a week on “packs of cards”. And for this ridiculous amount of cash you earn the chance to be better than everyone else. If you’re super rich and you have no skills, this game is for you!!
