Description

Scholly takes the hassle out of the scholarship search process so you can focus on what’s important—getting free money for school. We have helped students win over $100 million in scholarships so far, making college affordable and dreams a reality. Scholly was created by Christopher Gray, who won $1.3 million in college scholarships through grit, sweat, and hustle. In realizing how broken and time-consuming the scholarship search process was, he created Scholly Search to make things much easier. How does Scholly make it easy? * Customized Scholarship Search: Get matched with scholarships for college and graduate school tailored just to you. * Scholly Scores: Review and choose the best scholarships to apply for based on their Scholly Score. The higher the Scholly Score, the stronger the match—which means better chances at more money! * Easy Scholarship Tracking: Keep track of scholarship deadlines and track your application statuses, all in one place. * Mobile & Desktop Access: Access scholarship opportunities anywhere, on the go, on all of your devices. Scholly Search is proud to be 100% ad free. The app is supported by a small subscription, available at $34.99 per year, $24.99 per 6-months or $4.99 per month. We offer a 3-day free trial for the annual and 6-month subscriptions. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase. You will not be charged during your free trial period. When the free trial ends, your iTunes account will be charged for the annual subscription of $34.99 or the 6-month subscription of $24.99. To avoid that, you must cancel the subscription at least 24 hours before it expires. Manage your subscriptions in your iTunes Account Settings. Any unused portion of the free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription to Scholly. Membership automatically renews ($34.99 for annual, $24.99 for 6-months, $4.99 for monthly) unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. The account will be charged ($34.99 for annual, $24.99 for 6-months, $4.99 for monthly) for renewal within 24-hours before the end of the current period. This app glitches. On my Home Screen where my “matches” are nothing populates even though it says $208,497 in scholarship matches. So I can literally do NOTHING. I don’t understand why I’m paying money for this. I’m canceling immediately and I literally want a refund for this absolute waste of money and time.

I’ve attempted to cancel NUMEROUS times! The website and the app make it impossible to cancel! I’ve also tried canceling the subscription through my app subscriptions and although it says it expired in December, my card continues to be billed! HOW?! STOP IT!

They charge you money to get the app and then they charge you monthly without telling you, also the scholarships are from different websites like unigo, it is not worth it.

I fill out the profile information and it took me to a page to select the plan I wanted to pay for.

Why would I pay money to get money? I obviously don’t have money if I’m asking for a scholarship 🙃

Why do we need to pay find scholarships? When it’s already hard to find a legit non scamming scholarship programs. The millions of dollars already put into the this when someone downloads it. Isn’t enough? I wouldn’t recommend supporting a business like this at all.

I had a trial for this which I cancelled long ago. Today they randomly took $45 out of my account. I went to cancel the service (or make sure it was cancelled) and the only way to interface with company is a BOT. The BOT froze when I clicked cancel. I just checked again and I have NO subscriptions with them and yet they charged me OUT OF THE BLUE today. For people who claim to be trying to help students, it’s beyond low what they’re doing
  • Still get the emails but App stuck in Buffer mode

This app was on a great streak back in like 2010 but a decade later there has been hardly any improvement with the amount of entires I put in that I did not get. My account is supposed to be “grandfathered” since I had a medical reason to temporarily pause on my education but now that I am getting back into it I have no access and stuck on buffer mode when opening the app. Think this app is in sync with higher education institutions to police how long you have access to free money which is unfortunate.

I originally got this app due to many people recommending it to me, saying that although you pay for it, it is absolutely worth it. I’ll admit that at first it was amazing and I loved the app however barely a month went by after I got the app and I started having problems with it. It stopped updating the scholarships and they decreased the amount of scholarships available to me. I used to have many options available as they informed me in the app (they have a place on the homepage telling you how much money worth of scholarships you have available) however, one day when I logged into the app, that amount had decreased drastically. Unless they fix this, I would not recommend it at all.

They bug you with emails, scam you of a membership fee and let’s see how many of their users actually have found scholarships. Imagine asking people who can’t afford college to pay $30 to find them a scholarship. Ridiculous. I’d give them no stars but app minimum is 1. Scammers.
