  • Getting bad

    By Ylangest
It’s a nice concept and used to work quite well, but seems to decline with each update. It keeps crashing and takes a looong time to load — WHEN It loads, which isn’t nearly often enough. Then, it frequently freezes. Why? Also, can’t seem to use the reward tokens anymore. What’s up with that? Sad to see something that was really great deteriorate each time there’s an update. Edit to Add: newest update makes me want to delete this app. Tabs don’t open in the Oder they were In when closed. There’s no order to them. A mess!
  • v 1.32.3

Brave, what’s going on? I have been using your browser for years on iOS. It never crashed…ever. Now it crashes regularly and website pages freeze momentarily. Hope you folks can determine the root cause, because it’s been a great browser. UPDATE: not sure if it was a subsequent update, but the browser stability is back to normal. On 1.45.2 and all is well.
  • Totally confused

    By Hazmat*
I saw the YouTube video about DDGo and downloaded Brave. I was disappointed at how confusing and complicated everything is. Quite overwhelming actually. I tried to setup StartPage from the instructions shown on the bar that says add to Home Screen. The instructions are to tap the share icon first, but it doesn’t say where to find the icon. I’m sure I probably missed it, but I couldn’t find it anywhere. The difference between Brave and DDG is, in my opinion, quite stark. DDG is way more simplistic in appearance. Brave has a wallpaper with automatic favorites already added. I removed them. I couldn’t find anything that would allow me to import my favorites and bookmarks from DDG. The settings tab was full of options I’ve never seen, or could understand. I’m not a whiz at browsers and search engines, but DDG is a no brainer. Too bad they got caught with the spying allegations. Now I don’t know what to do about using Brave. I tried to contact their support team, but I couldn’t find a way to do that either. I guess I’m just not up to the task.
  • Turns on location w/out permission

    By That guy113425673
Why dose brave turn on location with out my permission?? It randomly turns on location After I have turned it off. Why does it do this? Where’s the “privacy “ they claim?? Talking to you Brave developer… Update 12/5/22 still turns on tracking
  • YouTube ads are back

    By Jim46788544456
Unfortunately, after updating the app, YouTube ads are back. Although I'm not totally against ads, videos that have 30 second ads every five minutes are unwatchable. One 6 second ad in the beginning... I'll watch it. I had to switch back to using Safari with AdBlock plus for youtube.
  • Pop up

    By Werdfhjjklllmhgf
The popup blocker is not working well or seems to have been hacked.
  • Good and bad

    By Noga Danial
Good that there r no ads, but when I change the quality then I press play it doesn’t start playing
  • Poor support

    By 747whaledriver
App misses 3 out of every 5 passwords submitted to new webpages, and has no options to manually add a passsword.
  • Best Browser Ever!

    By Commiefighter
Nothing else comes as close to blocking Google, Facebook, and all the other stalking big data companies.
  • Best. Absolutely. So happy

    By John-Bloom
    No ads. I am happy!
