My sister and I decided to rent a car for our time in Waikiki so we would not be tethered to large group tours. When I found the Shaka guide, I was excited to use it but wasn’t 100% sure how it would work and how well it would work. From the second, I started my first tour I was blown away by how in depth the directions were, how entertaining and educational the stories were, and how delightful the presenter was. I would recommend this and will recommend this to everybody that I know that is heading to Hawaii and the other national parks. Thank you Shaka for making my Waikiki trip even better than what I thought it could be!

The app will not connect the car use GPS in the car system no matter what we try then we can’t access the tour information without it

A traditional island tour only you get to do it at your own pace tons of food stop and amazing beaches! Our family had a blast!!

This was our third time using the Shaka Oahu app and once again we loved it! Our favorite is the North Shore Loop tour. The tour made the drive fun again! We were also able to share it with friends! Great job!

Not enough forewarning on when to turn, even going 25 mph. Once off track, there’s no help getting back. Needs updates on roads. Some were closed. Some didn’t exist. Wouldn’t continue tour until you got back to missed spots (even though we couldn’t get to them). Very frustrating. Waterfall hike was treacherous. Wear good shoes. Not for the out of shape. Nice gravel turns to big slippery rocks in a hurry.

His voice is very comforting all my kids were very entertain Everything it shows you is well worth it Thank you 🫶🏻

It is a a good app to explore the circle with the family on a car rental. It is better than taking the tour.

Never had any connection issues or lags with the app. Directions are so easy to follow and there is such a variety of stops. The information is interesting and made exploring Oahu on our own with 3 kids a blast!!!!!Highly recommend.

My wife and I visited the islands and downloaded th app for Oahu to check it out and were so incredibly impressed that we decided to download it for each island we visited. We are still telling our friends and family about it a week later. Want a good guide at your own pace with clear directions and beautiful Hawaiian music playing to aid in enjoying the trip between stops? Then you found the perfect companion. Try one and I think you’ll do the same as us. Great job Shaka developers, you nailed it.

It’s our first time here and what an amazing app this was ! It took us a few minutes to figure it out but after that it truly was a blessing ! It shares all points of interest , parking , and information. Thanks for making our drive around the island fabulous! Tom and Mistey Texas !
