The game you are trying to watch won’t even play half of the time. Re start the app and it still does not work. Some days it works fine. Really clunky for a paid service.

This thing would be horrible if it was free. But paying $20/mo to watch Caps games? Highway robbery. Worked mostly okay up until late January. Then weird partial commercials started interrupting broadcasts. Now, instead of interruptions, I simply get kicked out and app restarts. Over and over and over again. Same thing happens in the Roku version, so this is not a platform issue. It is just really, really bad back-end programming.

I’m actively excited when the Caps play on ESPN because using the app in any capacity is quite possibly the worst user experience on any modern app. The stream continually resets, locks out of authentication after just doing it, and restarts the stream from the beginning without any ability to get Live again. Avoid at all costs.

Great to be able to catch the Caps no matter where I am.

I live right out of DC like 5 min away and I can’t watch any games bc I’m not in dc

Never works.

Constantly have issues with it refreshing every few minutes. Doesn’t have any issues when watching from the Live section of the menu but if the Capitals and Wizards are playing at the same time all bets are off. Not sure if it’s just my setup but I haven’t found any way to fix it yet.

How they could buy NBCSW and replace a perfectly working streaming service with this buggy app is beyond me. Always opens in portrait mode on an iPad, can’t cast with Chromecast, and continually reboots to an old episode of their feature clips instead of the live game. Doesn’t work with an Apple TV or smart tv either.
