Amino used to be a great app for meeting people who share your interests with a good chat system But now it can’t do notifications properly, there’re gore and open everywhere that they can’t seem to get rid of, and the app constantly crashes Would rate 0 stars if I could, it fell from grace harder than Game of Throbes

I love this app so much but it annoying when It logs me out and I can’t enter I try every and you keep taking it away from me.!

Animo is great! The voice chat quality is nice, and chatting with people is extremely easy. It is wonderful how easy it is to access other people with the same interests as you. However, there are a lot inappropriate roleplays, people, fandoms, and chatrooms there are. When I first joined, a lot of people harassed me into sending them photos or to video chat with them. Some even went so far as to send inappropriate messages or uncensored photos. I also got added into multiple inappropriate chatrooms for stuff such as porn or hentai without my consent. People can also be extremely rude. Since this app is rated for teens, I highly, highly suggest fixing some of the stuff or giving it a different age rating. Some of it can be disturbing towards children.

it has been months and we are still not receiving any notifications, now we are unable to upload videos into our profiles, wikis and posts, messages still show as unread and its been like that for months!! the last time this happened, it was broken from november to july of last year and the messages being unread is STILL a bug to this day!! its constantly saying “unstable connection” “looks like this is a problem on our end, please be patient while we fix this” “invalid server response” please fix amino we are TIRED of this!!

It’s obvious the ppl who own this app fr don’t care abt it that much cuz the updates rarely ever actually fix anything, there is always some sort of problem with the app, it says they are fixing bugs but they don’t actually fix them. There are predators running rampant on this app and they don’t care. They don’t respond to emails anymore, I only got a bot answering me and it helped nothing. I wish the ppl who ran the app actually cared at least a little bit. I like the app only bc there are some awesome communities I am in and I met my friend on there. This app is fr gonna die out entirely one day and it’s the owners fault cuz they could fix the app and make it more enjoyable but they don’t care.

Haven’t been able to get notifications in months at this point. Every time they put out an update I feel hopeful but every time I’m disappointed. Connectivity issues aside, all I’ve heard from people in contact with support is always “we are looking into the problem.” The problem is you are just letting it happen and not fixing it. If I wanted to manually check for messages I’d go to my mailbox on the corner, not open an app and go through all my chats individually. Something has to be fixed with this, it’s getting to the point of not even wanted to use the app and moving to other platforms to speak with my friends.

I love this app and i have used it for so long but recently amino has been sending me no notifications! I have turned on every notification possible and messed with my settings but nothing seems to work. If anybody has any way to fix this please let me know

This is exceedingly frustrating but I get zero notifications from amino. It makes it seem like I’m ghosting people when I just don’t see that they responded. I know my notifications are on so it’s an amino problem.
