    In just a few days I identified several auto pays I forgot to cancel. Continue to love this app more as I use it. Push Notifications are super helpful also.

    I downloaded the app thinking it was a free service but truebill took $10 out of my bank account every month. Once I found this out I cancelled my subscription but I am still being billed $10 a month. Truebill is a scam do NOT get this app!!
  • Perfect for students that just moved out!

    I moved out august of 2018 and i couldn't keep up with my bills, every 2 weeks i was getting over-drafted. I needed financial discipline and organization. This app, within a month of using it told me what my monthly subscriptions were, what bills were due when, and even allowed me to include ones that the app couldn't pick up on. It shows a piechart of where you spend most of your money, so you can reflect on your own financial decisions. *arguably the best part* Last paycheck i had a surplus of $13 instead of $-120 I couldn't be more thankful to the developers of this application. Download it if your financially lost!
  • Great idea, garbage service

    Customer service is a joke. I was getting reports from Truebill that accounts were canceled but then would still get charged because they actually hadn’t been closed! When I reach out to the customer service chat it’s 24 hours or more until I hear back. I have a cancellation request that’s been active since 21 January and still hasn’t been closed, paid another month! This app costs me money for the premium service, money by either incorrectly or not cancelling services, and time because I’m just going back and cancelling it myself anyway. Absolute garbage.

    So first they “negotiated” a lower bill for my internet. It’s now a slower speed. Talked to support and they are no help. Keep telling me to “restart my modem”. THEN I close my account. Put in writing for them to stop negotiating on my behalf and 3 weeks later my rent check bounced because these idiots negotiated a lower Verizon bill and stole their “fee” from my bank account. These people won’t stop. Now my plan to change wireless carriers is not possible because these guys are complete idiots. I think it’s all a scam!! Next will be reporting them to the FCC. so much for a chill night at home.

    Truebill negotiated me off my unlimited AT&T cell phone plan (without my input). Not that big a deal but I need unlimited. So I had to sign back up. When I did, I accidentally chose the most expensive unlimited plan they offer! And after several phone calls with AT&T, trying to get back to my original plan, I’m told that plan is no longer available. Now I am paying over $22 more than I was before for the same service... Oh and Truebill charged me one large bill up front for all the money that they were to save me. The only saving grace about this whole mess was that Truebill refunded me after I messaged them several times.
  • Not sure what to think

    I’m not quite sure what to think about the app yet - on one hand, I really like the interface of the app and the features it has. The potential to add my various accounts and have a “quick look” at my upcoming bills is nice, other apps do this too but the layout within this app is one of the better ones. However... I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or if there’s a glitch or what, but even after linking my Comcast account the app is displaying the incorrect amount for my next bill; I tried unlinking and relinking it but no change. Also, I can’t link my Verizon account! It comes up as letting me add it for the “bill negotiation” feature (which I have absolutely no interest in) but when I try to add it under the the regular account menu it doesn’t even come up in the search (the only Verizon item that comes up is “Verizon Benefit Connect”). I want to like this app and give it a go with the premium features but these things that should be simple fixes seem overly complicated and on top of that it seems that the customer service is non existent (I used the in-app chat and got a response that they would be back after 30 minutes but several hours and follow up messages later, still nothing). So - not impressed at this point.

    Don’t waste your time and money. They just billed me a 2nd time for saving me money on my Comcast bill. They never did anything with my Comcast bill because they don’t even have my correct Comcast info to contact them. They refunded the first time, so I turned off all “TrueProtect” services. Well, they billed me again. The app is okay-ish. Service is garbage. I removed all my billing info, and contacted them for another refund. Then I will be cancelling my account and deleting this useless time-wasting app.

    Sorry guys but the reviews being left talking about all the hassle they had dealing with their cell phone providers and bills is stressful to read. Your responses are what is keeping me from actually using your services. I love the idea, and I know you have to make money but don’t take it from what you saved people!
