  • Mastering Visuals with Ease: A 5-Star Review of OmniGraffle

I recently had the pleasure of using OmniGraffle for various design projects and was thoroughly impressed. The software’s intuitive interface made diagramming and prototyping an absolute breeze. Its advanced features, like intelligent grouping and precise alignment tools, allowed for the creation of highly professional graphics with minimal effort. The cross-platform compatibility across Mac and iOS devices enhanced my workflow significantly. OmniGraffle is a true game-changer for anyone in need of a powerful, user-friendly tool for visual communication. It earns a well-deserved 5 stars from me!
  • Pricing, Yikes

Pricing on this app is outrageous, especially given the fantastic free options. Would happily pay $50 for a license, but $150!? Yikes, no thanks.
  • Really good for quick and clean drawings

I work as a CS Prof and do some amount of semi-techincal drawing for papers. OmniG is the best tool that I found on the Mac for that, I have been a happy user for many years. I spent a year in Seattle and each time I walked past the Omni office on my way to the coffee shop, I had a good feeling thinking about the nice folks working there. Thanks!
  • 2023 and this tool still can't import an SVG

Cannot believe that this feature still does not exist in 2023. Even the simplest, most basic, SVG drawing can't be used, despite developers claiming "basic support" since 2016 at least. Absolutely boggles the mind for a tool in this space.

    Excellent drawing app
  • Disappointing

Purchased version 6 a while back. Reinstalled it from the App Store on my new computer and tried to see if I could stil apply the old license or get a discount on the new version. No such luck, full purchase price required. So I used the free viewer to access a few previously created diagrams. After a while my 32GB RAM Mac suddendly displayed a message about running out of memory. OmniGraffle consumed all available memory. Happily have been using Lucidcharts since...
  • A fabulous product

For my use cases, creating diagrams in an assortment of CS courses, Omnigraffle is perfect. My usual workflow is to find a specialized tool for a specific diagram, gnash my teeth for a while and then ask ... I wonder if I can do this in Omnigraffle? The answer is inevitably yes, and thanks to an incredibly intuitive UI, I end up doing so in *much* less time.
  • Why did I wait so long to come back?

Many uears ago, Graffle was my go to applications for visual thinking. For one reason or another, I spent a lot of time trying other tools, finding them lacking. Yesterday, I finally bit the bullet and paid for a subscription. Happy I did! It's not perfect and it's taken me some time to re-aquaint myself with the UI (it's going to take even longer to figure out the iPad UI), but it's better than everything else. They have done a phenominal job of interfacing with all of the cloud-based file systems.
  • Irritates me when I buy an app and they make a replacement

I bought OmniGraffle, and it no longer runs. Irritates me that I can't even get the basic functionality I bought before. Will be Omni-free from now on.
  • I've already bought it.

Bought this App for hundreds of dollars back in 2017. Haven't had to use it since then. But I was always secure in knowing that if I had to do Vizio like things on my Mac I'd have this tool to fall back on. Now in 2022 I try to use it and it's not recognizing my prior purchase. My email address and/or apple account has not changed since then. I understand they switched to their own bespoke login system seperate from individual license keys. But this is ridiculous. I'll have to reach out to support to get my new "Omni Account" associated with my prior App Store purchase.
