The app itself is actually pretty good. However, I am pretty disappointed at the “support” that is given. When signing up for the Cycle Syncing Subscription, it was advertised that it was that users could “skip” or “pause” their subscription easily and on their own. I was only 2 weeks into my month I just paid and decided to input that I needed to skip the next month’s subscription (assuming that I could continue to have access to the app version for the last 2 weeks of the month that I already paid for). When I tried to go back onto the app, it denied me access because my subscription had been “cancelled”. I contacted support and they said that if I in fact am NOT able to skip via the website, and if I try to push skip, the app registers this as it is cancelled. I emailed support and asked if they could please reopen my app (since this is what I am paying for and the app version has more options recipes/features than the web version) just until the end of my month I paid for. Support said that there was not a way to reopen to app version, but I still had access to the web version. I re-explained that I was disappointed because I had already paid but now was not able to use the app, and was only able to use the web which was limited. I told them 2x that I hope they either fix this early app closing and/or correct the false information about the skipping feature of the account and that I hope they can compensate me for the trouble and early closing of my app subscription. The reply from support once again just told me that I still have access to the website. They ignored the frustration behind no longer being able to use the app (which I already paid for), did NOT apologize for their mis-information, did NOT say they had any intention to change the false information about the “skipping” feature, and did offer any amends or compensation. VERY disappointed in the lack of ownership and willingness to do better.
  • Not worth the money

Not only do you have to pay $8 for the app but you also have to pay $28/month in order to even use the cycle syncing recipes and workouts. Otherwise it’s just a normal period app :/ very disappointed and wouldn’t have bought it if I had known
  • Not what it used to be, and way too much pushing for membership

I used this app for a few years for tracking my symptoms and learning what to do to help them. It was very user friendly and straight forward. Once I became pregnant I stopped using the app since it was geared towards menstrual health and not pregnancy. Now I’m postpartum, my period is back, and they’ve done some update to the app that COMPLETELY changed it. It’s super difficult to navigate, there are payment gates in way to many places of the app, AND you no longer get recommendations on how to help symptoms that you’re having. They just keep pushing their Cycle Syncing membership that is $28 a month! Like what?? What about us middle class moms with kids who just want to improve their menstrual health?! Alissa Vitti preaches menstrual health and female empowerment but this app is geared towards a very specific group of women, not ALL women. WHAT GIVES??

i used this app for years. recently there was a major update to it and it wiped out all of my data and history making it pretty much useless. seems like now they just want to sell you upgrades.
  • App was confusing to navigate and incomplete

Not the best app for cycle syncing. the worst part is that it’s non refundable. These reviews must have been bought. Extremely disappointed at the customer service. The worst $28 I’ve spent.
  • New Interface is Awful

The new interface of this app is disorganized and not intuitive. It has made it very difficult for me to track phases and symptoms - adversely impacting my health. The colors are too light - not enough contrast and visual organizational. Overall disappointed in the changes. I have PMDD and rely on period tracking apps to be simple and easy to use.
  • Horrible app

I originally loved this app years ago but for over a year I’ve been unable to actually use it because it crashes and won’t even let me log in anything. Don’t waste your money

I used to love the old version of the tracker. Since the recent update, it has completely changed the app. The calendar is not intuitive and I have a hard time logging my period. I just want a simple cycle tracker and this app feels complicated now.
  • Poor layout & usability & update is not good

There’s a lot of things I don’t care for about this app & I wish there was a better alternative that had everything basic in one app. 1) You cannot retroactively put when your period ended. During the period you can select “my period ended” & pick the date. But say you want to go back a day or two after your period ended to mark it and continue tracking - it will no longer give you the option. 2) The color layout of the calender is non-sensical, busy, and with no explanation, making it extremely hard to follow. 3) Wish there was a way to input your temperature as that is an important part of cycle tracking. 4) The app did a recent update and I literally logged back in & lost AN ENTIRE YEAR’S worth of tracked data. Crappy! I would recommend the kindara app instead. It does all these things but the only negative is that it focuses less on the period color & consistency itself (no option for that but it does have a spot to record the volume - e.g., light, medium, heavy) which this app does do. That’s the only negative to Kindara. This app now has a different format since the update that has changed the color coding system on the calender (so that is better - way easier to follow with the eyes & they actually finally explained the color phases), but now the one benefit which was tracking & marking your actual period colors & consistency is missing all together! So I not be using this app for much longer… They’re gearing it towards only being functional with options to track for paid subscribers. I would not recommend it & I will probably have to delete soon.
  • LOVE, but overpriced (and bugs)

I love this app but wish it was financially more accessible. A dollar a day is a LOT. Also, I’ve run into a handful of bugs as well as features that were shared in book that don’t actually exist in the app.
