  • Part 1 decent. Part 2 absurd

    By alshataan
Justin did a decent job in Part 1. He does say it takes ‘a few sessions’ to get to 60 changes per minute. Lies. I’m at 7 months and around 30 per minute. But everyone is different so I won’t fault him for that. Part 2 first module is when I quit the guitar and now despise it. He gives around 6 chords all at once which is insane. They aren’t just a lot but super hard. I couldn’t even make some of them let alone attempt chord changes. I tried a couple of changes for the ones I could kind of do and do 6 changes in a minute. My pinky is blistered. I’m rating this 1 because it will only lead to extreme frustration and disappointment with his insane idea of blasting you with super hard chords all at once.
  • Best App I’ve Ever Used

This is the BEST guitar app I’ve ever used. The guitar courses are FREE. If you’re looking for a great experience to help you learn guitar fast, you need to get Justin Guitar.
  • Best guitar course I’ve used.

    By Geo.Ross
I’m 53 and this is my fourth attempt at learning the guitar, and by far the best course. Justin’s temperament puts me at ease and his knowledge and teaching style make it easy (not to mention all the tools (website, app and song books)). I have gained more applicable knowledge and confidence than the three previous attempts combined. I’m so confident that I’ll continue on, that I have invested in a “good” guitar and gear. Thanks Justine!
  • Justin Guitar

Justin is by far the best instructor I have ever had on the internet or in person. And believe me I have had plenty of both especially the internet. Over the past 7 years or so I have tried everything to “get back in the saddle” (now 71 years young), and used to play. But finding it a little more difficult than before. Justin seems to be the only one who gets it! THE BEST!

I have always wanted to learn the guitar but didn’t know where to start…I found it!
  • Can’t sing enough praises - just do it!!!!

I bought a $60 guitar off OfferUp and took Justin’s free class because I knew I wanted to learn but didn’t know if I could stick with it. Two months later and I am SO happy I found him via Google! He is really so knowledgeable and kind. He knows his students and what they might be struggling with at certain points in the learning process (I.e. finger pain or strumming patterns). His modules are so helpful and you can practice as many times as you need to. I love learning how to play, I am now on Module 4 (I like to repeat/practice modules to make sure the stuff really sinks in) and mix that with easy 3-chord beginner songs on YouTube. Thank you thank you Justin for making learning guitar so fun and accessible. If I could give 10 stars I would!!
  • Easy and user friendly

There’s nothing bad I can say about this app. Justin is one of the original guys offering online lessons and he’s always getting better at teaching. After a year or so I feel perfectly comfortable grabbing my guitar and playing for a party or just a room of my friends hanging around the house. And everyone knows that you can always trust a man with a fancy hat.
  • Audio stops when phone rings

    By ginbahr
It’s been really frustrating. Since the latest update, I lose audio when I get a call or an alarm or a notification to my phone. App support says to turn all these off, which isn’t realistic as a parent. When I try to log out to reset, it freezes and doesn’t allow me to close the app. I’m now stuck between not being able to close the app, nor delete it to redownload. Super bummed. When it’s working it’s really fun. Just need it to work consistently, or get actual help when it’s down 😔
  • Great for beginners and self taught

    By Rocky Conrad
Now that I’m retired, I thought I could sharpen my playing. I did learn several things that I’ve missed out all these years. Justin gives more structure and there were weeks when I never picked up my guitar but I could always go back and review. I don’t think I’ll live long enough to match Clapton or Hendrix but I can play some of the Beatles and sing along. “A man (or woman) has to know their limitations.“
  • The best

    By ridingmore
Absolutely the best on-line app hands down or hands on your guitar. I am what I would say is to a moderate level player. I have studied under a variety of teachers and if that is available to you then do it and add this app. If you can’t supplement in person lessons with this app then this app is even of more importance to you. However you do it this app is a tremendous resource and benefit.
