I just discovered that if I just answer all the questions in one direction and don’t try to read every single question , my score is much higher!

I’ve been playing Crosswords With Friends for many many years. There have been glitches that were soon corrected along the way, but recently an Apple computer ad freezes up the game. It pops up while I’m in the middle of doing the crossword puzzle, it comes up before I can even put one word in, it gets stuck on replay and you can’t get out of it. It’ll come up with a black screen and you can’t clear it to get back to the game. And if you shut the game down completely and bring it back up it just goes right back into that black screen or Apple ad. It is way too frustrating to try and play anymore! I don’t need the aggravation so I’m uninstalling it.

I don’t like how the ads just try to pop up on their own when I’m working on the puzzles. Need to get that figured out.

Love this game. Play it every day. I give gifts every time I have them available (almost daily). I looked one day and I had 3 gifts sent to me in return (this is normal). Usually receive gifts 3-4 times a week. When I saw those 3 I tapped to receive them and the app crashed. I reopened it and the gifts were gone. Since then I can only send gifts, I cannot receive any. It shows that I have no gifts sent to me. All of this started after the most recent update. I thing Zynga messed up the update. Please fix it zynga. I also emailed this issue to zynga. But they never responded.

Love this game but recently an ad for Mac books keeps popping up, sometimes in the middle of the game. Very annoying! Can’t make it stop!

Was a fun daily game, then they put ads popping up randomly in the middle of the crosswords… extremely annoying, especially when you are trying to compete time wise… why not before or after? Think I’m gonna drop this game la daily use if this keeps up… literally 5 times today in the main crossword and haven’t even had a chance to do the other two

I used to really enjoy this app. Recently it started to crash while I was using it. I have to close the app and reopen it. I’d get one or two clues completed and it would crash again. Decided to reinstall the app and now I’m having to claim all of my prize puzzle badges again. I can’t play a puzzle until I claim them all. What a joke.

Getting as bad as WWF2. Now the keyboard betrays me! Deliberately puts the letter next to the one I’m pressing, just to slow me down. Not sure why. Maybe if I can’t earn three stars I’ll buy something? Lame. [Previously] Game awarded me 50 points for an achievement but then stole 40 of them back by turning on See Wrong halfway through a game. Guess I’ll play until I run out, and then delete

I really enjoy doing a daily crossword puzzle with my coffee every morning. This app used to be perfect for that. I didn’t even mind when they first started making me watch ads before the puzzle started. But recently, the Ads are glitching and not closing. They freeze the app and you have to restart it. And now they’ve even begun popping up during the puzzles- which are timed! It may be time for me to delete this app, and if you’re looking to download a good crossword app, you may want to keep looking for an alternative to this one.

Could be so much better. Asks for money ALL THE TIME.
