  • Unexpected

If I really wanted to renovate a garden I would have downloaded gardenscapes. Very disappointing how many stars and steps it takes to complete each task.
  • It takes too long to advance

Too much money to advance at a reasonable rate!
  • Starts out okay..

What got me interested in the first place was the idea of fixing up an old mansion, only to learn that you have to play a game to earn points to ‘afford ‘ any renovations. The game is challenging and you learn that the only way to excel is by having side by side ‘bonuses’... which do very little on their own or if you attempt to move them next to each other. The narrator, Austin, is an annoying omnipresence but the problem that I have now is that the ‘story ‘ won’t advance, (I’m only at level 139) just a lot of Austin dusting and walking back and forth around the cat. There are at least half a dozen other ‘ghost’ spaces in the house which you can see and not access. There’s plenty to do, the game just won’t let you do it. Story lines seem to get introduced and then dropped.... I feel the end is near...

This was a fun game until a recent update made it so difficult that I will very likely delete the game. I am at level 734 and it is disappointing to find that a super hard level takes 4 or 5 days to pass and a regular level can take hours to days. Think twice before you get hooked.

My sister told me about this game. So I downloaded it. Now I’m fully addicted! I love decorating my mansion!
  • Nice too easy

    Want more content
  • To hard to get stars

    By way to boring
I like the basic game, but the levels to earn stars are crazy. Some are way to hard and others easy. Balance it out some. No one wants to play the same candy crush style games for days. It gets boring trying to earn stars to fix things.

You have to play it for a while, and then you start to see the mean-spirited programming behind match-3 puzzles. Either be willing to pay a lot of money or else be punished with being stuck at the same level for days. You can’t collect more than few boosters or coins. If you have any, you can’t go to the next level unless you use them all up. Levels that are not even marked as hard take days to beat. Leaves you feeling frustrated, cheated and manipulated to spend money. Shame on the values that this company chooses to practice and encourage. People who are giving 5 star reviews are the ones who haven’t played it long enough. I for one, will never pay a dime to a company which values $$ over any possible human sentiment. Looks like if you give a bad review, Austin will tell you that what you wrote isn’t all that smart. Mock on, way to go playrix!
  • Cool but......

It’s actually a great game! The only issues I have with the game is the rewards and stars. I think they could upgrade the rewards more better and on difficult levels they should at least give out a couple stars or more. Especially after you renovated a whole room. I’ve already completed so many rooms and after doing so the rewards were awful! Sometimes none! I mean each new day you get something but it doesn’t equal to the missions you’re on or have completed! I’m on level 1791. I’m still waiting for them to update new levels to play. But I wish they would give out more rewards and stars! That would make the game better!
