I am reviewing June 2024 calendar and the balance seems off. Please fix bug. For some reason my balance jumps over $2000 but it returns to the right balance on July 2024.
  • New update is confusing

You used to be able to select a calendar from the list and the app switched, but now it multi-selects. Additionally, it used to default to the current calendar when putting in transactions, but now defaults to the first calendar. These updates are causing issues with entering data, as it takes far more clicks to get the same outcome. Please switch back to the precious methods!

I don’t typically write reviews but this app has helped me so much with my finances. Unlike other apps this one allows you to manually add all your expenses and income, and categorize it any way you like. For some people that might be a chore but that’s exactly what I need with my money being in different places and also wanting to split it up my own way. Not only that it allows you to see your monthly and yearly expenses and income for each individual category and the subcategories. It’s really put into perspective my spending habits. I do pay for it, but it’s definitely worth the investment !! Thank you for this app!! Wish more people knew about it !

This app seriously improved my finance management. I use it religiously and don’t know how I’d get by without it. I love that it’s all manual. Other apps that link to bank accounts often misread transactions or place them in the wrong category, but with this app, absolutely everything is within your control, and it’s so customizable!

Love the app having some issues with crashing especially when adding transactions for future dates. For some reason unconfirmed transactions are not showing up as editable on the mobile app but work just fine on the web app.

I have been using for the past 5 years. I have tried all the budgeting apps out there. This one is the best there is. It always works. Doesn’t lose information. And using a calendar system allows you to project budgets way into the future.
  • Used to be free, now a subscription

I used to absolutely LOVE this app. It allowed you put in unlimited transactions and income that would show you each days remaining balance on your calendar. One day I tried adding in a transaction and I found out you now you have to pay a monthly subscription to do that. I think this is the most ridiculous thing because these apps are supposed to HELP you save money, not encourage you to spend more of it. I understand if you need more support, but if you guys absolutely needed more money, maybe instead of a subscription you can charge a one time fee or something or add advertisements. Anyways I was disappointed with this change and ended up deleting it and I downloaded a different app.

This app is one of the best I’ve found for tracking my expenses. I’ve been trying to moderate my spending the last few months (I tried Mint but their AI would mess up the categories all the time and their interface wasn’t as responsive). Dollarbird is amazing - the AI is really on point and categorizes my transactions correctly every time and it’s really easy to use. It’s also a huge upgrade from entering in a spreadsheet manually. I don’t mind having to input each expense as it helps me be more aware of spending and Dollarbird also has limits to help you as well. It’s also great if you’re trying to save for a trip or something. At the end of the month I can easily see how much money I have left over and can put away that amount into savings. So confused why it’s not featured on more websites/videos - it’s really upgraded how I track my expenses! Overall think this is a fantastic tool for anyone looking to take control over their spending and build better financial habits.
