  • Beware.

Curiously downloaded this app after reading about it on a parenting website. After opening decided it wasn’t for me and didn’t open anymore after that. Woke up this morning to an $87 subscription that was billed to my account. Apple won’t do anything about it so now I’ve paid a ton of money on something I’ll never use. We aren’t the kind of family that has an extra $87 lying around to spend. Needless to say I’m P.O’d. Had it been a small fee for a monthly subscription I might have shrugged it off and just canceled after the one time charge. However it charged me for an entire year. I’m sick over it. Beware.

Not available for my girlfriend in Iceland. Totally unacceptable. Shame on you.
  • Not very personalized

You have our names and gender. Seems silly to teach a pair of gay men about heterosexual relationships or to continue referring to “your partner” instead of their name. Some of the questions would be more clear if it used names. Unlike real counseling, btw, this leaves following up on answer differences up to you. There’s no one there to say “It looks like you both take a different view of this” and help you reconcile. Otherwise, and weird iPhone bugs not withstanding, it’s a decent tool.

This app has truly been amazing. So many of us go through relationships not knowing what they’re truly supposed to look like, myself included, and this app really gave me a basis from which to go off of. It asks you to reflect on yourself and your marriage in a judgment-free and accepting way. My marriage has definitely benefited from this app. It’s worth it.
  • Free Trial Will Result In $79.99 Purchase

Update: I was able to call Apple and resolve the situation to receive my money back. I also received an email first thing Monday morning from someone at the company to help rectify the situation. I certainly should have read the fine print to see that this charge may have resulted when downloading the app, but this issue probably would happen to most people. Original: I recently looked into this app for additional help for my marriage. I apparently signed up for a free trial when downloading the app. Today I was notified that I paid $79.99 plus tax as an “automatic renewal” on my account. A $79.99 purchase for something I did not intend to purchase is REALLY NOT HELPFUL FOR A MARRIAGE and is not a great business model for an app intended to HELP marriages. Please be aware that you may be making a $79.99 purchase days after downloading this app. I am currently looking to receive my money back. Until that time, 0 stars for my current satisfaction, which is a shame because this app may be very helpful

They might as well just charge to download. There’s no point in downloading the free version lol you can’t do anything without an ‘upgrade now to access.’ I find this so annoying and deceptive with apps. Like okay let’s waste peoples time.
