  • I have learned a lot

    By Jessgo33
Overall, great feedback and it is like having your own instructor when ever you need it. The app has different levels of skill and teaching. I like the instructions and I also enjoy the ability to pick up where I left off.
  • Pay app. Expensive pay app.

    By ArkangelvV
Disappointed to find an app then open it to find out its $150 for a year. Or $20 a month which comes out to $240. I’m not against folks making money. However, one should advertise their expensive pricing prior to download. Garbage app. I highly recommend that consumers on the App Store realize that not buying what you want only makes what you want cheaper and more available. As a society this one fact is true. The more folks who restrain themselves from stupid purchases turns said stupid purchases into smart choices. This app does not deserve any stars. As one must spend money to even use this trash.
  • No sound on practice sessions

    By gordonh1015
Sound doesn’t play on my iPad on practice sessions. Works fine on video instruction.
  • Grin

It’s pretty good but the fixed grin of the tutors is creepy.
  • Help

    By 🥴OliverDog
I’ve never picked up a guitar in my life, but I’m trying. Is there a tutorial on how to actually use the Fender Play app? I subscribed but I’m having a hard time navigating the app and trying to figure out the best way for a beginner to learn how to play using the app.
  • Best teaching app

    By Running Quail
Need more bass songs. Adjusting the mix on the play along is great to hear the bass line on songs with out lessons and learn more songs but trying to learn by ear is challenging. Maybe having the bass tabs available on most songs even without a full lesson would be an option. Still the best app available even for bass players!
  • Great for many levels

    By msturat
I am very pleased with the depth and variety of this app. It was good for someone relatively new to the guitar. There is enough structure to help you progress and enough variety to keep you interested. The discount of Fender items is a great perk as well. I do wish that there was a way to group so of their non-lesson items together by skill level.
  • Works great!

    By Forktail22
After a recent update, the videos played with sound, but practice mode played without sound. Fender got back to me quickly, told me to disable the silent-mode switch on the side. Great customer support, Fender — thanks!
  • Aloha Joy with a little help 🌺

    By Aloha Steven
Amazingly good taste, food grade teachers I suggest leaving the chords on the screen even when he’s playing because it’s easier to see the cord. Is it his fingers but I love everything you guys are fabulous hollow from Hawaii.
  • The guitars are ugly

    By ImTheBestInTheEntireWorld
The guitars are ugly, there’s no design that I’m looking for.
