The music sounds like a scratched 1970’s record and is not motivating at all! In addition, after you finish the 28 day plan it does not adjust to keep increasing the length and difficulty of the exercises. You just have to go back to the beginning which is no longer a challenge. The chatbot voice is also creepy. It would be nice if it was a real human voice.

They lure you in with a cheap app and then automatically renew you at $100 a month for their additional services.

Why do I only get one workout option

This app is a joke. I tried the initial trial to see if it was any good. They gave me no notice and continued to charge my card for months. No notice. It doesn’t show up on your subscriptions. So if you try it and don’t like it be sure to cancel subscription because it defaults to auto renewal and gives no meaningful notice.

Betterme has been an awful experience. I initially ordered this service last year. For over a year I had been asking for basic functions of the app that I had purchased to work, but 0 customer service feedback (even through the app). I reached out several times requesting some sort of remediation of what didn’t work and not only did I NOT receive any support, I also was charged for a full year of service assuming that I would have a service provided. Betterme has been a awful experience with no support. Save your money for an app or people actually respond to your feedback.

Signed up using a discount for $13. They charged $13, followed immediately by a $59 charge that I did not consent to nor was it shown on the statement. I have emailed multiple times and they are just ghosting me. After researching, I found that this was extremely common. One person kept receiving charges after cancelling that he had to close his credit card and get a new one. SCAM. I did get access to the app, which is basically just videos of any common workout you’d find on google. JUST USE YOUTUBE, ITS FREE. The app also lets you input food and it probably calculates things, but there are free apps that do this. MyPlate is a government website designed for this. HORRIBLES HUMANS RUNNING A SCAM.

i loveeeee this app. i love having everything all in one place and i’m obsessed with the energy and cohesiveness of it all.

They keep charging you after cancelation

Paid for this app. Used the app. Updated the app. Couldn’t log in. Says email not found. Contacted customer support. No response. Waste of $30.
