Surprisingly the new words don’t seem as hard because of the simple way they introduce it. I would recommend trying this app even if you have other apps as I’ve learned new words that haven’t even popped up once in many lessons on other apps!

This is very good and easy. The spelling is a bit difficult, as I stink at spelling in English, so leaning to spell in a language that uses some different letters is challenging!!!! So far, I’m really enjoying it.

I’ve tried Duolingo and have been taking private Norwegian lessons, and this app is perfect for learning vocabulary. While it’s not meant to teach grammar (so don’t count on that), it is helpful for the beginner who has already started and needs help covering some ground (getting more words down!). Worth trying. There’s a reason it’s not a free app for the full experience.

Didn’t seem like it was doing much until I went to a grocery store on my trip to Iceland and found that I could read the labels. I only wish I had practiced even more.

This looks like it could be a useful app, but the first time tutorial texts are completely illegible on an iPhone 13 mini thanks to being hidden by the notch. Do you not QA stuff before releasing it?

Just being able to accept or decline which words you learn is a definite advantage over Duolingo. There are so many Norwegian words that are similar or exactly the same in English, it's great to be able to skip those.
