Update: I am satisfied with this app, old version or new. I miss the Polaroids and that type of look for the app but I’m happy with what’s out there currently.

25 Feb 2024 … There was a great response from the developer(s) of this app after I sent a detailed series of documented images to them following their reply on my initial review. They were able to repeat the same issues that I had found. A few days ago, they sent an email notifying me of the latest update that fixed the issues I was having. I updated the app and not only did it cure the noted issues; but now, Afterlight is picking up all of the Fusion filters that were not working before. EXCELLENT JOB, KUDOS, AND A BUMP TO ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 03 Feb 2024 The developer has contacted me regarding the forwarding of these issues to them along with documentation of them and the devices and OSes. That information was sent tonight to them in hopes that they can get to the bottom of all three issues I have experienced on both a Gen 3 and Gen 5 iPad Pro 12.9”. Will see if the can get resolved. 28 Jan 2024 There are some issues with this app. I have a Lifetime subscription and every time I use one of the custom filters (especially the new ones) the first change seems to work fine; but, any attempt to continue with another image, the application shows all of the filters with a “downloading spinner” including over the image and at that point the app is completely locked up and I have to kill the app. Restarting the app does not change this; nor does powering down the iPad Pro 12.9” Gen 5 or Gen 3 . It happens on both. I give the app 3 stars for the UI and what it attempts to do; but, until the lockups are fixed, it will sit at three stars instead of five where it once was. PLEASE FIX YOUR APP!

My only complaint is that I cant edit more than three pictures in a row without the app giving me the perpetual loading icon on every editing tool and filter which means I have to close it and reopen it every three to one photos. I hope this bug gets fixed cus its a good app otherwise.

App is disappointing! Used to use it years ago and now all the same filters that used to be free they want you to pay an ongoing membership to use now. Ridiculous. Can find very similar filters on free apps. And what is hilarious is the app developer for this app doesn’t respond to complaints like mine or similar even though years ago I bought certain filter packs and now you have it blocked. Where’s my refund for those filters I paid for and not allowed to use anymore? Scammers Update, they asked me to email them. I did and they said I should have been grandfathered in but I’m not and they did nothing to fix that and stopped responding! Not to be trusted!!

This use to be so reliable, now it crashes when I use the frame feature …hit or miss… what happened?
