  • Absolutely fantastic

This app is everything I looked for. Being able to make a database of recipes, categorized in any way I like, and create a grocery list based off of them makes things so much easier. My only suggestions: -Be able to open several tabs in the web browser. I like to browse recipe indexes of food blogs/websites and it can get tedious to open each recipe on each page individually. -A way to share your database with other people. I’m not talking about iCloud, but rather a way to have a link to it online so you can share it with family/friends. Unless there is a way to do this and I missed it. But overall, 5/5 would recommend.
  • Best $5 investment!

Love paprika for so many reasons. I’ve had a folder with recipes in my email inbox that’s just kept growing, no organization and was out of control. Now all recipes are in paprika and I can easily search. Had a cup of whole milk leftover from another recipe and a simple search for “1 cup whole milk” pulled up 3 options from my library ;) Super simple to set up categories - e.g. I’ve made it, for potluck, pasta, etc. Whatever works for your style. Took fine upfront to get recipes loaded in (partly b/c I had so many) but have absolutely loved it. The iPad interface with ingredients/directions side-by-side is particularly great for whole cooking. Adding new recipes from any website is super simple. Just a few taps. There are so many things I like about Paprika. I generally don’t buy apps and certainly not $5 apps, so I was hesitant but it has brought me so much joy (yes, joy!) and simplified my recipe management. Best $5 investment ever :)
  • Lost all my recipes

I bought a new iPad and tried to transfer this over. It made me buy the new app and then everything was gone. I contacted tech-support, but there’s been no response. I cannot get my recipes back so I am using a free app that works just as well. This did not happen with any other app that I transferred. I’m thinking of calling Apple to try to get my money back I’m so disgusted.
  • Best recipe app!

I’ve been using paprika for years and it’s amazing!!!
  • The Best Recipe App. Ever.

I’ve been using Paprika for several years now and it’s only gotten better. I seldom, if ever, run into a website recipe that can’t be automatically downloaded into the app. I also love to scale recipes with a single click and be able to fully edit all the data. It also syncs beautifully between my two iPads and IPhone so I always have the most current grocery list with me. The only addition I’d like to see is adding “grams” to the optional conversions for measurements. As a baker I only bake using grams and while I enter my own recipes using grams, I’d like to be able to convert other recipes to grams.
  • I'm writing this because I have a request

I love this app! my only request is that when you are in the grocery tab and you tap edit it would be great if there was a select all button for easier deleting - thank you!
  • Great app but one thing is missing

    By Ziglarski
I love using this app for storing and sharing all of my recipes, my only issue is that amounts used in the directions do not scale when you scale the recipe ingredients (unless I just can’t find how to do this). Adding a formatting tag for this would immediately solve this issue and make this a perfect app, as sometimes it can be confusing for my older relatives to use and scale. Keep up the great work!
  • What happened?!

    By CarolineLee2019
This used to be the most amazing app! I had it on my old iPod and also on my iPad mini? Half of the stuff and features in the app are gone and now this app is just like any other recipe app! It was the BEST! Is it because I’m using a different device now? IPod Touch 6th gen? How can I get the old version back?
  • Wow - best recipe saver / meal planning / shopping app out there!

  • Flawed by useful app

I hesitated to buy this app because it seemed expensive and I used Evernote for my recipes. This is actually much better for that purpose and there are many nice features. You can see them in the app description. I find some things, especially adding tags or categories as they are called in Paprika, to the recipe particularly annoying. I have a long list of categories and because there’s no way to partially type in the category name or to skip to a certain letter, each time I add a category, I must scroll through my long list. I despise it. It makes an otherwise pleasant task of adding a new recipe, feel like a chore. I also can’t search for a recipe that falls into two categories like keto and granola. Finally, while I like the menu planning feature and that the app tells me last time I made a dish, I find it frustrating that I can’t add another type of meal. Not everything is breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack. I’d like dessert, but I can’t add it. I wouldn’t normally write my complaints here, but I have tried to mention them to the developer and found him unresponsive.
