  • You shouldn’t make people pay to connect with God

Some of these features should be free. This app would be a wonderful opportunity to let people connect with God. We shouldn’t let a silly thing like money get in the way of that. This app seems so amazing and im so sad I can’t use it to it’s fullest
  • Feel like God sent me this app

But it is frustrating that the Anglican Daily Office is truncated. I’m not sure if other traditions are the same way, but I’d imagine that there aren’t that many people who are trying to do the daily office who only want half of it. If they’re committed to the tradition, nobody wants a light version. The beauty of it is the simplicity to be able to fire it up if I’m running behind and can’t sit down as easily that morning or evening. The current implementation doesn’t help that I’d I want to finish the office as I still need to dig out my prayer book to figure out the missing reading. The daily office for several traditions should have a morning and evening version, orthodox and catholic too I think. If you want to make a short/abridged version too that’s fine, but please create a version that allows those who want to follow the office to do so easily. Also, if it were possible, it would be wonderful to have the next section announced on playlists with multiple chapters. It can be a bit strange and disorienting to move from Numbers directly to Mark. It takes a verse or two to figure out the context shift. It would be ideal if it started and announced the chapter, and then announced “a reading from Psalm 83” before it just launches into it. I imagine this could be toggled on and off as I bet some people prefer the other way. Finally, this might be outside your mission and vision, but tackling building the actual daily prayers along with the readings for the daily office and other meditation traditions would be truly phenomenal. J love the ACNA’s app but it also can’t read the whole thing, only the passages, and for a very auditory learner like myself it would be truly phenomenal to be able to listen to the whole of the prayers and passages together each day.

In my daily life, Dwell allows the Word of God to flow in my life as I am getting ready for the day, on the drive or as I am falling asleep. Listening to the Word directly without any commentary is priceless to me. His Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. 🙌🏻 Thank you Dwell for the opportunity to hide his Wird in my heart no matter the time of day and for whatever need I may have.
  • You have to pay for most of it.

This app is really relaxing and I like it but, it requires payment for you to use a majority of the app which is really discouraging when other Bible apps such as the YouVersion Bible app, it’s completely free and doesn’t require you to pay for anything to read or listen to the word of God. Dwell app requires payment for all the plans, most of the books and the daily devotionals, all of which I can get for free on the YouVersion app. So, I appreciate this app I just wish you didn’t have to pay for everything.

I’m not one to pay for Apps but, I am so thankful I bought this. I look forward to listening to the voices and music with the scripture and the daily devotions read to me. They are very applicable and understandable.

This is the second audio Bible app that said a free trial and charged me immediately. That’s really frustrating man… I’ll redo the review once I get over it 😮‍💨
