Dumbest move ever to move Google podcasts to YouTube music. Ridiculous.

My favorite podcast app. As someone who has an iPhone and pc it was very easy to switch between the two without having to search for the correct time. Sad to see it go.

I liked the app. Unfortunately the transfer tool for YouTube Music did not work for me. Error: “you have no subscriptions to transfer.” Yes, I do, and they’re all mainstream. Disappointing

I can’t think of one person who used this as their primary podcast app who was asking for a “YouTube Music” experience instead. Shame.

Google continues to erode faith in using any of their services. I’m switching to Apple, not YouTube

The podcast experience in Google Music is horrific. I have a hard time believing that this is going to work out the way Google wants it to.

Now we should be able to clearly see the pattern. Don’t trust Google products or services to be around for long. Try them on the side but don’t rely on them too heavily. They are likely to just up and leave eventually.

Leave to Google to discontinue a perfectly fine app that everyone enjoyed using.
