Deer cast and Deer tracker is a great tool!

This is a decent app for the free version if you live near where you hunt and check it the day of the hunt. It seems that the deer movement predictions are oriented more for wooded areas. I hunt open fields near woods in western nc and it seems like I see more deer in the fields when the DeerCast says “okay”, or “poor”. However, when it says “good”, or “great” theirs lots of deer movement in the more heavily wooded areas, and I see lots of deer driving the road. When this happens theirs a lot less activity in my open fields and corn piles. Hope this helps if you’re on the fence about downloading the app. If you wish to use this to plan hunts a couple days out you’ll have to get the paid version. It may not be worth it depending on your financial priorities. I definitely wouldn’t base my decision to go hunting that day on the deer movement prediction. You never know what you’ll see so get out there!

A great app that I renew every year. I’ve tried/paid for many deer hunting apps. Thus far DeerCast is the best.

The map parcel are lagging bad not even showing info on them half the time

Everything you need for deer hunting in one app. I use this daily even when I’m not hunting.

If you get a paid subscription they will try to scam you. I signed up during the Cyber Monday 50% off special, but they charged me full price! When I called them on it they claimed that Apple did it, so I contacted Apple Support and found out that they don’t have anything to do with how much Deercast charges. Subscription cancelled. BUYER BEWARE! They will try to steal your money!

These would be two huge thing to add many benefits everything else is already there.

Have to say been using Deer Cast for 4 years now. When your tied to only public land hunts the info on Baro and Temps is extremely useful. Plus all the stories by outdoors men and women are just an addition to the overall app. Shot placement is also great if someone gets a questionable hit, deer track ! Only see it getting better

If you don’t catch the renewal they will auto Jack up the rate and do it without asking and then refuse to fix. You guys contacted me and told me that doesn’t happen but it did. I signed up 3 years ago at 9.99 and didn’t catch the renewal last year when it auto upgraded me to full price, I just caught it this year so you got me for 120 bucks when I never would of signed up for more than 9.99. The lady who wrote me from your place said it was on me to fix it. I should remove another star for it.
