Not one to write reviews, but love this game! If you’re looking for that old school feel, this has you covered. Great replayability. Gorgeous music. Everyone should check it out! Rare among other iPhone titles. For the longest time I avoided purchasing it. And I am glad I finally did! Great throwback title honestly. Graphics are also too notch. Only complaint is the ridiculous RNG. That’s my only complaint though.

I feel like this is possibly one of Game Stew’s best games. It’s like an improved version of ToF2. Nearly everything about it is perfect. It’s a bit short and easy are my only complaints.

Love the collect ability aspect of the game, as you build up and customize your team. The grammar is off a little, but makes for some really interesting phrases. Love Game Stew, can’t wait to see what they come up with next!

I’ve been playing Game Stew games since the first Tower of Fortune back in 2013. I’ve bought ever single game, and they’re all so charming in their own ways. The concepts, the stories, the character/monster designs, the art styles, the colors (or lack of colors), the gameplay, and more is unique different every single time. Hell Raider is no exception. In fact, I’d say Hell Raider has my favorite sprites, backgrounds and monsters out of any Game Stew title. Maybe even any title. I think I just really love the futuristic city vibe mixed with the ancient culture (specifically Japanese culture). It all feels very vaporwave and I can’t get enough of it. What’s funny is, that’s the problem for me - I wish players were able to explore the world more throughly! Mainly the City of Dead. A Tower of Fortune 3 styled map of the city where you can visit different plazas and buildings and such. Neon signs and and ghosts floating through Maybe even Gods being praised as though they were celebrities. More named locations and characters to interact with. Hell Raider already has a very vibrant and unique world, and I was hoping I would be able to explore it more when I first saw the city. I wish we could get to know the various gods better, see the Machine God riot in person, see Oni fighting Machines in the street, that kind of stuff. That, besides slightly subpar grammar, is the only problem I have with the game. It’s not as immersive as it could be, but otherwise, it’s great. I can’t wait for whatever you guys come up with next. I’ll always be willing buy high-quality content, and this is some of the highest quality mobile gaming there is. Keep up the great work :)
  • Bad Grammar

In some of GameStew’s other games there was incorrect grammar here or there, but in this one it’s all over the place. It seems sloppy and impacts the playing experience for me. It’s hard to ignore.

You guys always make the best games, I hope to make a more thorough review once I put in a bunch of hours playing the game :-) I still can't believe how amazing your tower of fortune games are! they are still my favorite out of all iOS games.

Can’t say enough about the devs! They fixed the iPhone X big in less than 24 hours. The game plays great now and is already my favorite game they have made. If you like Game Stew games this is a no brainer. Get this game!

Just downloaded this game. Can not play this game on iPhone XS Max. Not registering touches, and oddly enough, the screen overlaps the screen and I can't see all the text either. Please help.
