very intuitive, easy to use and just fun. A basic knowledge of sampling, ipad apps and just working with audio should be enough to get going. so much help online, a great community and tutorials if don’t have knowledge it would also be a great learning tool if you need to invest in hardware samplers or midi control sets for the ipad.

Proof that by being dedicated to learning a craft and providing resources and supporting a community that you can become the best in the game. No other music creation app on iphone even comes close, especially for the price. A program so good that Roland and Ableton have happily thrown their weight behind it with official cross-platform compatibility and control. Far and away the most powerful mobile DAW around. It rocks! I will support elf audio in everything they do the same way they've supported a new generation of producers for years. It's a level of trust not easily gained but one they've proved time and time again that they're worthy of it. If anyone deserves it it's them. Thank you!!!

In a day and age where many developers outright refuse to support older devices arbitrarily Koala Sampler not only keeps releasing updates to older devices but optimizing for them as well, after an already massively feature packed base app with outstanding add-ons for what is still an incredibly low overall total price that level of customer support can’t be given anything but five stars, bravo Koala, bravo.

This app is jam packed whit the best tools to create music. Found some to sample?? Open koala.. load video or audio in a pad and go crazy.

Make beats in the shower, while driving, waiting in a waiting room, while your partner watches their shows on the couch, while cooking and doing the dishes…

please add a bitcrusher level thingy like how you can do that with the filter

Really useful for music. Im a little disappointed that velocity doesn’t work in piano roll but its whatever tho

When I bought Koala I actually had no idea what it really did, but it kept coming up as a great music app, so I just got it to learn and see what it could do. From there it became my most used music app on my iPad. It does so much. It samples, it sequences, it loads AUV3, it can be loaded as an AUV3, it has effects that can be used in other apps via AUM, it works as a midi controller for other apps. I love it. Also, the developer is responsive and helpful. I recommend adding the samurai edition.

It takes 20 minutes to load from iCloud!!!!!!!!!!

I’m so appreciative of this app for being such a user friendly and competent sampler for mobile devices. I’ve been using it for years now. I think personally one of the things I would love to see is a pitch bend for the keyboard. It would really allow for a bit more expression and fluidity when playing melodies. Overall thank you so much for this app. It’s nice to have it with me everywhere I go.
