I bought the app with the hopes of easily connecting my portable piano keyboard to be able to practice on the road. After the app downloaded I tried to launch it nothing opened and there was no icon in my menu bar. I went to the developer's website and tghere was nothing there that would help. Would there be a setting I need to adjust in my Control Panel? Thanks for any help!

Simple and lightweight. All I've been looking for to keep my MIDI controller connected and not have to keep garageband or DAW open in the background.

I downloaded it and clicked on it. Nothing happened. So I went to delete it by dragging it to the trash ... couldn't do it because the app was running. Looked at Finder, no sign of the app running. Had to crash it through Activity Monitor and then delete it. Garbage app.

I got an 88-key midi controller for free and I was worried that I would have to buy a keyboard to actually play the piano, but this app saved me a ton of money! Its super simple, super convinient, and it works really well! I have no need to change any of the sounds or anything, but the fact that it's an option is nice. Just a great app, thank you!!!!!!!

The latest update fixes the issue where the app wouldn't open at all in Big Sur. Additionally, it seems to have solved the problem with the SoundFont resetting (deactivating) every time you select a different MIDI device. After a few days, I'll update my review.

Since uploading the latest version, the app will not launch on my 2019 macbook pro running Big Sur. The keyboard icon does not appear in the menu bar

Not working on NI Komplete Kontrol keyboards, if too many notes were played simultaneously or too fast together, some notes would get stuck and keeps ringing until you find it and hit that key again for it to stop.

For a long time I've been looking for a lightweight midi app that lets me play my midi keyboard on the fly, so I don't have to keep a GarageBand session open all the time. Sounds great for the price (free!), touch sensitive, and the UI is mimimal. Very happy I found this app.

Fast and lightweight, allows me to check out something on a MIDI keyboard without launching a DAW and waiting for it to load. I haven't had any problem with it being always "ON" as it appears to use next to no system resources when it's running in the background and not being used. EXCELLENT!

As a professional musician sometimes I need something fast to pull up a sound to learn a quick part or find a key of a song, chart a song etc without the need to open up a DAW or load a large sound bank etc. This ALSO sounds really nice for what it is. All other MIDI apps in this category sound like the cheapest lamest piano ever. Thank you to makers of this, this will run every time my computer loads from now on and will be ready at a moment' notice when I need to work out a quick part without the frustration of waiting to hook things up to use.
