I believe in paying yourself first and saving which is why I started using this account. However a few years into it I note that money leaves my checking account and does not appear in my smarty pig account for 7 calendar days. In other words someone is earning interest on my money for that period, it's not me. I would understand a one or two day delay but 7 calendar days in todays world is unacceptable. There are lots of better alternatives paying comparable or better interest

Never have I seen such an invasive sign up process for a simple savings app. These vampires wont be satisfied until you give them a blood sample. I gave up tracking down documents to “prove” my identity, Bubye

I love this app and how it works. It’s user friendly. However, I’ve tried to log in since yesterday and can’t for some reason. There isn’t any new updates and tried the website, but still can’t log in. Not sure why it isn’t working.

I wanted to love it so badly but it just isn’t good. The app doesn’t load, transfers are insanely slow, the balance doesn’t show up at all. Its not motivating to save when my goals show up as 0% complete even when they’re almost at 100% complete. It’s just broken. Not worth the low interest rate. Seriously trash. Do they even have engineers to work on it?

Once I can get into my app, it is very user friendly and simple to manage your money. The negatives are that it often glitches when you try and login. It just gets stuck/frozen and I have to close app frequently and come back later to login again. Also it takes forever to transfer money from Smarty Pig to my local brick and mortar bank for use.

Yeah I think it’s crazy to put a 5 business day hold on someone money after an ACH transfer! I’ve had nothing but trouble since i started this account and can’t wait until I close it for good.

The app keeps crashing and I can’t get in and I have to call them and change it all over again

I have been unable to use the app since last update. I am able to login in but it then just spins. I have gone five minutes waiting for the app to login until I finally gave up. I have tried multiple times to login.

Can’t go through the app without getting a error message when going from one screen to the next
