Thought I’d try this even after seeing some bad reviews, but figured that it was free and if it worked, it would be a good way to preview negatives quickly before digitizing them with my scanning setup. The reviews were right, the color and quality is absolutely horrible no matter what I tried. Just take photos with your phone camera (shoot in raw if you can) and edit them with Snapseed or Lightroom (something with curves adjustments)—there are plenty of online tutorials.

Pictures is not clear

The three day trail is useless. It is a scam to get money from you. They offer you this free service and then they charge you for a tool that you need to use the app, unsuspectedly sending it and charging your account. a free app becomes a $54 expense automatically charged to your account! You can cancel at anytime but the free trial period becomes a two day trial or else! And it is a waste of three/two days!! That time period is the way they scam you of your money. A wonderful concept. But a tricky way to connect to your account! BEWARE!

It’s fine for the for a quick and dirty scan, would be really nice if it supported formats other than 35mm such as 4x5 or medium format.

ordered a light box and paid subscription never got light box app glitches..

This is a good app for saving old negatives.

This only scans 35 mm negatives as far as I can tell. From some descriptions that look like there should be an option to change the negative type to various sizes and transparency, but I don’t have that option. Disappointed
