I’ve had this app for a few years now & I was fine with paying because there’s a few authors I love. About a year ago, they had a falling out with one of the authors I follow. This author no longer writes for GoodNovel but kept their books in app for their readers (since we did purchase these books). Unfortunately this past Sunday 4/21/24, GoodNovel deleted all the books that I purchased from this author from my library. I’ve messaged them to either return the books to my library or to refund the money I spent on these books. I haven’t gotten a response. This is not the first time they did this and last time they put it back into my library. I don’t know what’s going on but this is very frustrating considering the amount of money I’ve invested into these books for it to just be taken away. THIS IS STEALING!

The book I was reading (and spent MANY coins on AND I was on chapter 60) got removed and I am unable to finish! This book is no longer in my library or viewed section anymore, but it’s in my history of coins I have spent to unlock chapters daily! This is highly disappointing.

The book is good but this app is just too costly. An actual book would not cost this much

The stories are fun they just cost way more than just buying a book. Also, the editing hasn’t been done, but still it’s a good read. I really can’t get over the cost of reading the chapters. I’m not spending a dime more!

If I could give you zero stars I would. The authors involved with you sleezy schemes are coming after you Good Novel for great reasons. You think you have balls in pressure them but this will back fire big time. Apple please remove their App on App Store. Contact me for details.

Just don’t like that my points expire, sometimes I have to work and do not have the opportunity to use my points for the next chapter….so I certainly do not want to purchase points, just to lose them

Several books I’ve paid for and were in my library just disappeared after I paid a lot of money for them! Users beware they take your money and then take what you paid for with no way to get the book or your money back!!!! So frustrating!

The app works great other than the audio is lacking and not updating like it should. Been waiting for almost a year for more audio on my favorite book. As much as we pay for credits to read the audio should be updated. I’ll finish reading the book but I’ll be damned if I purchase more credits I’ll just log in daily and get my free bonus credits and save up to I can read a few chapters at a time and then save up more.

I have 100s of dollars in Jessica Hall books that you have just stolen from my library. I paid my money for them and you have taken them away therefore that is theft. I want my money returned immediately stealing from your readers who pour all this money in to your app to enjoy these books and then you have an issue with the writer and take it out on everyone who once again chose your platform over other isn’t cool at all.
