I love it

The game is interesting so far, but I gave it 3 stars because sometimes when you press the inventory, it closes before you get to do whatever you need to do. I’m not that far into the game, so I’ll probably upgrade my rating.

Everything is so tiny it’s really hard to play on the cell phone.

Updated review—after the fix, this game really fulfills its promise. The puzzles are varied and compelling. Just loved it all. Many thanks. First of all, as a retired Literature Professor, I am so impressed by the quality of narrative and the interplay of words, music, and graphics. This steampunk game is going to be wonderful, and I took great pleasure in replaying it again to the firewolf. In spite of this glitch, I am amazed at the quality of games you folks consistently give us. I am grateful but—I have reinstalled and replayed again up to the Firewolf and still am stuck. Really lovely game so far and again thank you for doing such great work. I will update stars and review as soon as I can proceed. Please give us a fix since I need my Oleg “fix.” BTW, my last review was deleted before I could update but again many thanks to reviewers for their hard and consistent work to keep us busy. Again this game has so much promise but I cannot get past the fire wolf. And Lynxmink & Catalina, many many thanks for all your work in keeping us in the game(s). First of all, NOTHING was fixed until I contacted Domini directly. I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of seeing fatal flaws in every Domini release! Now there is an in-game update and the issues SHOULD be resolved. I work quickly. Unfortunately even after a second update there are several technical issues which were NOT resolved! For instance, do not go into collectibles during the game. There is NO WAY to exit out and you must go to your home screen and RESTART the game. There is no excuse for this problem! I would have liked to learn about the inventions but when you click on one invention you cannot exit out of it. The same issue was present with the geodes. Domini actually invented a new glitch! Secondly, there should be ANOTHER Domini release on June 2nd. They didn’t know which game at this time. I sure hope it performs better than this one. Supposedly, Oleg still plans on releasing EIPIX in June, but there are App Store issues preventing this occurrence. Don’t get too excited or get your hopes up. Around May 28, Elephant should release Paranormal Files 5: Trials of Worth. Out today: Edge of Reality: Fatal Luck! (Friendly Fox) So we will have a few new games to play. Note to undercoverzip: this poor person is obviously a newer player, barely speaks English and doesn’t get it. However you said what was on my mind and boy did I laugh! Listen to me, you, awesome person, moxie ruby and dval have been my staunchest supporters. I would love for any of you to play for free. Remember in order to get codes you must email me directly, so don’t purchase the next game. See if you can email me for a code. This is strictly for Domini. Outside of the technical issues, this game had beautiful steampunk graphics, and fast-paced and addictive gameplay. Unfortunately some of the mini-games were impossible to manipulate and I had to skip them. This game did not have as many puzzles as I would have liked. It was also a very short game, and lacked innovation. We need new storylines, Oleg! Why don’t you play Artifex Mundi’s (Brave Giant’s)new game, Family Mysteries 2? Then you and your creative team can get a taste of real novelty and an unusual storyline. Your games are becoming extremely formulaic, and it has become very hard to distinguish one from another! This game was slightly above average, so my true rating will be 3.5 stars and I’m being generous, considering all of the technical issues. Also Oleg, if I were you, I’d be extremely focused and motivated in regards to releasing EIPIX already. You promised the players 42 iOS releases this year. So far we have had 7 games. Soon you will have another issue to contend with if you don’t start releasing those games. Don’t you realize that people are quarantined and stuck in their homes and need games to play? Listen gamers, just stay positive, stay happy and stay safe. As always, happy gaming. By the way, in the next couple of months I may have some very welcome news for those of you who are dismayed by the lack of games. I can’t give you any more information at this time. Frustrated by the games. Not enough guidance and often what is touched either doesn’t move or doesn’t go where you wanted it to, leaving you to wonder what you did wrong. I end up skipping most of them out of frustration.

I look so forward to a new Domini game coming out that it is such a letdown when the game doesn’t work the way it should. I’m enjoying the storyline and finding many of the puzzles and hidden object games to be creative. But, the game has frozen up on me a few times and I’ve had to go into the map, then go to a different scene and then go back to the scene I was in to make it work. This is annoying. Even more offsetting is the horrible placement of the inventory bar. There is only room for four items on it so you need to be able to scroll through it quite often. Whenever you touch the left side, it pops you back to the last scene. I’ve tried everything to try to overcome the sensitivity with no luck. It just interrupts the flow of the game and makes it less enjoyable for me. I also found that there was a puzzle with a little toy train that I just could not get to work. The train would move around a corner sometimes and other times get so stuck that I had to restart the puzzle. I finally ended up skipping the puzzle which I hate to do. I’ll finish the game but I just wish it worked a bit better.

Like other reviewers, couldn’t progress past the fire wolf minigame. Glad I didn’t buy this.

I was also stuck however I discovered if you tap the hose /spigot lower right corner I believe but tap around then the hose will make a puddle and the game continues. I’ve played it through to the end and am replaying now. UPDATE to get the frog use the hat to scoop him up

This would have been a good game except for the many times it locked up and required a restart. This happened throughout the game and also bonus play. The other unacceptable thing about this game was the inability to access the left side of the inventory bar without returning to the previous page.
