Now you charging to block spam? 🤡

They require you to give them your phone number and confirm with a code before proceeding to tell you you have to pay to use the service. Why would they need my number first unless they wanted to solicit me if I declined to pay? I installed this to stop solicitations, not add a new one.

It only reduced political texts, which is a great start. Unfortunately our government still allows SPAM operators to plague us with phishing texts. Unfortunately the only way to fix it is to block every text from unknown numbers. This means I will block texts that matter, such as regarding my health providers. This is possible for free without paying Textkiller.

Maybe it works but the set up was simple and it simply just said diverting was wrong and try again. I did it 13 times with 4 people. Oh well

The ad has an “in app purchase” scroll box that states $5.99 for premium account. This is totally misleading, for they only give you a 7 day free trial. After that, you have to pay $5.99 a month.

Not stopping unknown calls

I have been a customer now for some time at $3.99 per month. The app has worked well. I cannot say anything bad about the functionality. I understand lots of things today are going up, but going from a reasonable $3.99 to $5.99 is just ridiculous. How do I know you won’t raise it again another dollar or two when you feel like it? On the principle alone, I am cancelling this subscription and can no longer recommend this app.

How come it doesn’t let me add keywords to block anymore? It used to but now the list is blank and the “add keyword” button doesn’t do anything. Updated the app and my phone. Please fix this bug!

I’d like to preface by saying i have an iphone 13 and i do not pay for the app (the free version works fine for my purposes) i was getting quite literally 3-5 texts a day spouting off some random republican campaign stuff that was very clearly a scam (if you get them you know what im talking about). not sure why i started getting them a year ago but every single one is addressed to my mom so that’s a possibility. either way i got tired of getting notifications every single day that i received a text only to find out it said something along the lines of “TRUMP NEEDS YOU” and the unknown senders feature for the iphone isn’t helpful in that department so i gave the app a try and oh my god the relief i feel now is immense. i used a few of the keywords that are always in the spam texts that id never say myself (stop=end for example) and it has worked GREAT. the junk folder does its job and i just check it every few days to report the texts ive gotten and check to make sure nothing important got sent there on accident. overall this has made using my phone so much better and if you’re tired of getting scam text notifications i highly reccomend it!

I keep clicking on the link to report spam but they just keep happening over and over! I get around 30 a day! I can’t keep up with it!!! Please fix it
