  • Can’t use my Gaiam Smart Scale anymore with this app

I don’t understand why, but one day I tried to connect my Gaiam Smart scale to the app and it didn’t let me, instead asked to sign in again and when I tried it didn’t me either, saying I need to pay for subscription when from the beginning it was free, just smart scale app. Where did that option go? Is there even an option to connect to my scale if I subscribe? I don’t need all those workout videos and I don’t want to pay for something I’m not going to use. Can you bring the old option of JUST using scale through the app for free, please?? Thank You!
  • Locked out. Feels like a scam

I created an account and it wouldn’t recognize the password. Never received any reset emails to my email and I tried more than three times. Sent an email to their support and no response. Then subscription wouldn’t cancel. Had to call Apple Support. Feels like a scam.
  • Mostly Good…

A lot of the classic teachers & workouts/practices are great. But there are a few odd things & some functionality issues as well. I have a few GAIAM yoga workouts I’ve had (and done) for a long time & still love, but I wanted more variety & was stoked to see the HIIT workouts as well. Weird: on a particular series of Restorative Yoga there’s loud music in the background…??! Bummer, because the practices are good, but nobody I know wants to hear that during a restorative workout. FRUSTRATING: I have committed myself to doing one of the HIIT series – and it was off-line for a couple weeks… No explanation, and I can’t find a working support link. It was maddening enough to make me consider canceling my subscription… One more wish: that I could organize my “List” by workout type.
  • Yoga Studio combined with Fitness+

I think this Gaiam also made Yoga studio, which I fullheartedly loved for like 2 years until Fitness+ came out, then the app was kind of boring and the sync with Apple TV was kind of clunky. But then when I subscribed to Fitness+… and the yoga search was abysmal… but I loved the video component and the explanations. I use yoga for focusing on problem areas I discover while doing other workouts, so I need to search by keywords and filter. This seams to be the combo I was looking for! The filter is a little clunky because it’s only possible from the homepage, but the keyword search is great. The 2 classes I tried today were SO informative and did things to my joints that I couldn’t dream of. I hope this remains a 5 star for me and they keep updating the functionality.

In 2020 my gym permanently closed so I started using the GAIAM videos. I get a better workout now at home at a lower cost! I recommend this app to everyone. - Diane C.
  • Good variety

I need variety in my workouts and this provides it. I wish there was more functionality like being able to sort by length of videos and create my own playlists. There is a My List option but you can’t create sub folders. Also the auto play of the next video function is weird. I don’t know many people who binge workout videos!

I love the variety of options on this app that are for all ages and fitness levels. They have great instructors and programs. Rodney Yee has always been a favorite instructor of mine and I feel he has addressed some of the changes in my yoga practice as I have aged. This is a very portable and easy app to use.
  • Tony Horton Next Level

I’ve been doing Beachbody for 12 years, but 11 years wishing Tony would reproduce the great qualities of original P90X, quit giving in to the pressure to reduce the workout time resulting in no warm up / cool down, and keep it simple with no gadgets-gimmicks. Digging the calendars too. The simplicity was the answer, why did it take so long? Finally!
