  • Best way to learn ASL short of in-person lessons!

I’m using LingVano to brush up on my ASL skills after getting rusty during the pandemic and it is so amazingly helpful. Clearly Deaf-made and designed in a way to teach grammar, tips for learning, and signs themselves. Way more than just learning the signs! Highly recommend!
  • No Family Subscription = Deal Breaker

I completed the first lesson, and I think this curriculum is fantastic. I was ready to get premium. Thankfully, I read through the fine print and found that premium doesn’t support family sharing. We have a family member who recently lost their hearing, so we are learning together, but I can’t justify hundreds of dollars for all of us to use one app.

I have to say so far the app is really good I haven’t found an app like this one. I’m more of a virtual learner and this did the job. The reason I want to learn sign language because I was never taught this language in high school or at my university I wanted to try something new. Found it interesting being a ale to learn sign language there’s soo many deaf individuals in this world where it’s hard for people to even understand and I want to be one of those people to learn a different language that is not used as often as it should be. So far the app is wonderful love the face expression is your looking for something virtual this is for you. Hope this help.

I know you can just do the free trial, but there’s only 4 lessons you can do for free (that you can’t even do the review for!), honestly gross.

    Recalled a few signs ..,
  • Missing many important signs

Overall ok but many useless signs while ignoring important words like: word, salt, cookie, because, etc while focusing on a school and towns in Canada which are not nearly important. Can’t imagine Gallaudet school sign being nearly as important as many common words that have been left out.
