Excellent software, greatly simplifies what would otherwise be tedious work. Pleasant to use, very fast and responsive, nice interface, updated regularly over the years.

I've been using this App for several years and love its flexibility in presenting different presentation options. I'm still discovering new way to share with family members and they love it.

This app continues to be absolutely the most worthless piece of junk I have ever purchased on the App Store. The code must have been written by a 10 year old "gamer"! Trying to navigate to what you want to see is like trying to find one piece of information in a blizzard of glitzy stuff no one cares about. If you are into si-fi blizzards of stuff coming at you on the screen this is for you. However, if you would like to see a simple 4-6 generation pedigree chart without jumping through a ridiculous number of steps - forget it! This developer should take a look at who their customer base is. I'll bet they find it isn't a group of lower teen-age pyrotecnic expecting gamers, just someone wanting do do genealogy without all the glitz!

I tried to use the "best" family tree making software a couple of years ago, and it was a terrible and convoluted process. I've always b een so interested in discovering family lineage and history, but that experience soured me on trying. This software changed all of that, this is really intuitive, easy, and I've already traced brances of my family back to the mid-1600s. I am astounded.

When I turn my computer on I now get pop-up ads for other software from Synium. This is a deal breaker. If I had know they were going to do this I never would have bought any software from them.

ability islimited to Smart Albums and Collection. They need to allow input from the People and Pets option. I submitted feedback to them fto add this capability.

All too often I need to look up data on an individual in my tree BUT find no magnifying glass or other way to zero in on the entry for one or any particulay name. This is frustraing in verson 9 and persiste in veraion 10 sady --- or I'm just too thick to find it. P.S. Thanks for the pretty chaarts ---

Super simple to get started. If you have an existing tree that can be downloaded as a ged file, then you can import it to this app. You can also access many other research tools from directly in the app. I very much like Mac Family Tree 10

I'll be honest, it's not the easiest program to work with in the begining. Once you figure it out it's really neat. You can be as organized as you want.

Tried a couple of other programs, but MFT is by far the best. Still learning some of the bells and whistles, but it's a great tool with connections to FamilySearch a big bonus. Easy to use for all the basics.
