Promoted as a tower defense game. It’s really just an RPG with an idle TD component. I play the game. Its a good game. Just hate the promo mismatch.

If you enjoy watching numbers go up while doing the bare minimum, Kingdom Guard is the game for you! This so-called “strategy” game offers all the depth of a kiddie pool while ensuring that paying players completely dominate the competition. Gameplay? It’s a glorified idle game pretending to be a tower defense. You merge the same handful of troops over and over, and beyond that, your actual input is minimal. Your troops fight automatically, leaving you to just stare at the screen, wondering why you’re even here. Sure, you fight in the same ‘war’ front for three weeks out of every month, but again, unless your a top spender, you get matched against players with power that dominates you in a second, and they are online 24/7 fighting (almost as if they are sharing accounts which is against the ToS 🤔). Progression? Oh, you wanted to level up and improve your army? Hope you have weeks to waste, because unless you open your wallet, progress slows to a crawl. Upgrades take forever, resource generation is painfully slow, and everything in the game screams, “Spend money or be irrelevant.” Balance? What balance? Big spenders (a.k.a. whales) can instantly upgrade everything and wipe out entire alliances of free players. The power gap is ridiculous, making strategy nearly pointless—just spend more and win. Events? Copy-paste cash grabs. Every event is just another excuse to sell overpriced bundles with minimal effort put into actual content. The rewards? Mostly useless unless you’re already at the top. Community? If you’re not in a top alliance, you’re basically a punching bag for stronger players. Chat is filled with either flexing whales or newer players slowly realizing they’ve made a mistake downloading this game. If you just so happened to pick up this game 5 years ago, your server is already dead (RIP 400-1200 servers). If it’s not, you are in a whale alliance. Bottom line? Kingdom Guard is a pay-to-win, auto-play cash grab disguised as a strategy game. If you enjoy spending money to feel powerful in a completely unbalanced mess, go for it. Otherwise, don’t waste your time. Unless you just want to constantly start over on newer servers until they go cross-server. Would give zero stars if that were an option.

Pop up ask 5 star rating DAILY. It little annoying.

You can get carried away and very involved quite easily in this game. Tons to do, and eventful. Tip: don’t be afraid to play all the events in the game, great rewards are easily earned for your efforts!

Completely different game. Don’t match the game icon either.

Not exactly what I expected, but still fun challenging and it’s helpful when it comes to auto select, will continue to use this and see how far I get😁
