Not sure why anyone would pay $7 a week for this when the official Roku app is better as a remote and free

Paying $7 a week to actually use the remote is crazy. Not to mention the fact that it isn’t even connected. Should I mention that a physical universal remote is $15…and that’s it. Why spend $7 a week just to change a channel or volume level when you could just buy a new remote that doesn’t require a weekly subscription?! Did I mention that it’s nearly $10 a week to use this universal remote app. Sure, it’s “free” but expect an ad or a promotion to their weekly subscription every time you click something…LITERALLY EVERY TIME! And my TV isn’t even connected yet, so I don’t even know if it’s good or not. Did I mention it’s $7 a WEEK? This ends up being $28 a month or $336 a year? You realize you can get Disney+, Hulu, and Netflix altogether for less right? I feel sorry for anyone who actually spends money on this app, especially since there are other apps that do the same thing but actually free!

It’s so annoying that this is the only universal remote I’ve downloaded that you have to pay to actually use anything. Poopy
