I wasn’t expecting much from this game since that is the current state of gaming on mobile. Granted I have only been playing for 2 days. Still, the artwork, voiceovers, the idle play, the active play (that is rewarded)… All of it. So far it has only thrown one offer on screen and that was for $0.99. It’s not greedy, no ads, no paywall (again I have only been playing for two days), and a long list of heroes that can be obtained for free. The upgrade system allows for any hero to be come powerful, upgrades and equipment are shared across all heroes. I really can’t say enough. This dev has truly gotten my attention. I hope this holds throughout the days I play. Well done!

You are absolutely DESTROYING a beautiful game if you follow through with this. Look at how far you’ve come in less than one year? Now you want to destroy it all. Lilith, Farlight, all developers etc. - you are going to lose so many players. Scratch that, you’re already losing them. I am apart of a top guild globally and more than half are leaving. Even our whales. This game is about strategy, understanding and learning mechanics, and not to mention.. THE COMMUNITY. It is the most beautiful and amazing things I’ve ever witnessed. You’ve officially turned this game into “hey! If you spend 10k, then have no fear! You can just pay to play!” How STUPID is that? People have spent countless of hours understanding this game, comps, formations, strategies, mechanics, etc. The countless of hours people have spent into making videos and guides are just pointless now. What a joke. You people are like a dog with a bone. You’ll never get another dime out of me and I promise you thousands are behind me. Maybe don’t be so Lilith for once in your life and don’t screw a game up (also for once) with your greedy short term monetary incentives. I continue to play with hopes you actually listen to the feedback and hope these changes are reverted. I have messaged on Facebook, customer support five times, and now here. Good luck - I doubt you will get nominated ever again or receive any award if you continue to run your company this way. Peace

This game is probably one of the best games I’ve played on a mobile device in a while. Been playing for about a month and haven’t put it down. The only issue I have is that I was charged twice for something one month apart. I’ve since requested a refund from Apple and additionally I’ve requested documentation on what was “purchased” without my authorization. I’ve never had a game or company charge a card twice in such a manner and it leads me to believe that my card info is somehow stored somewhere on their end. Also the support system for this game is terrible. They don’t have support majority of the time and when they do it’s late at night. Also when they finally do respond they don’t respond right away, causing a two sentence conversation to last an hour. Their support team is in GMT time which is 5 hours ahead of me (EST). There no reason why I cannot get support at 9 am EST. It’s 2:30 PM GMT. Do they not work during the middle of the day? Leaving 1 star until I receive a complete refund. UPDATE: They told me to check my far-light pass to show all the points from my purchases. These unauthorized purchases wasn’t there. But they clearly charged my account. I got a mail message stating that I requested a fraudulent refund additionally they are threatening to ban my account permanently. I also didn’t even receive in game content for the “purchase”. I’m going to request a refund for all in game content I’ve purchased and will be deleting my account. The devs and support team should be ashamed. The bank is backing what I said and I am not disputing all purchases made on this game. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with any game. I will not be playing anymore. Company is so money hungry it’s ridiculous.

I was first drawn to the game because of the art style and I thought the character designs were unique. I was confused at first because it was my first time playing a game like this, but I slowly learned and adapted to where I was able to enjoy it. I generally like the story and the combat system now, in addition the game’s art style. However, a few weeks ago I began to notice minor issues I had with the story. I felt most of the main characters were pretty two dimensional for what the game is trying to show. Merlin and her familiars are supposed to be cream of the crop sent by Dura to demonstrate good and justice, or at least that’s what I got from playing. When the Hypogeans were introduced, they were depicted as the evil demons of the world, incapable of being good. But the way they’re written it doesn’t seem that way at all. The familiars tell us that they’ve commuted horrendous, unforgivable acts, but you don’t feel the weight of their actions in any way. For example, one of the Hypogeans was causing disorder by making copies of sacred sculptures and statues and Merlin was tasked with fixing them. From a story standpoint, I was confused at what made the Hypogean the antagonist in this moment. He is supposed to be capable to commit heinous acts but stooped down to playing a harmless prank? The only real consequence that this had on the various citizens that were affected was confusion. I could see what the vision was but the execution wasn’t all that great. Merlin and her familiars became noticeably more two dimensional—and sometimes even hypocritical—more frequently in the side stories. In the different redemption arcs for certain characters/groups of characters, Merlin showed clear bias towards those groups, even despite the countless words and actions that they’ve taken to prove that they’ve changed. If Merlin is supposed to be the ultimate good person in this world, why does she decide how quickly they need to be given forgiveness, when these groups of people have functioned fine without her interference? My last issue is a more personal one if anything and it’s just something I find annoying, but there have been some cases where to show/understand a background of a character, Merlin just asks and they just…tell her. I just don’t understand how or why they would give her an explanation so readily, especially in the case of trans or death. It seemed insensitive for her to ask—or pry— in some cases where it really wasn’t her business at all. If it was really necessary I think it would be interesting to add a mechanic similar to the one with the bar that gives you points for picking the right answer, getting you closer for rewards on your quest. Something that acts like a lock so that it’s not as easy for certain characters to open up, especially since most of them don’t know your identity as Merlin. Those are my only real issues with the game that I thought I’d share. These are mostly my thoughts and feedback and you don’t have to take everything seriously, it is just one game after all and it’s not really that serious, but I just thought I’d share.

I pretty good so far I’m really enjoying the simplicity of it. I do wish the character creation was a little bit more diverse. But is ok. Hopefully in the future, they add more diversity with body types and skin.
