Description

SplashID is the world's most trusted password storage system. For over 12 years, over one million users have kept their passwords safe with SplashID - and now it gets even better with an all-new version. Think of SplashID as your personal vault or digital wallet on the iPhone or iPad. You can store and lock sensitive information - not just usernames and passwords but credit card data, account numbers, registration codes, prescriptions, and much more. Keeping your usernames, passwords, and bank account numbers in your head, on a Word or Excel file, or written on a piece of paper is unsafe. Passwords can be forgotten; laptops can be lost. With SplashID, your data is easily and quickly accessible, reliably stored, and - most importantly - secure. Only SplashID offers: - Access: Free, native, secure apps for mobile, desktop, web, and browser - Choice of sync and storage: You decide how to store and sync your records with convenient cloud sync, local network Wi-Fi sync, or on-device storage - Touch ID login - Customizable record types and categories keep information organized - Photo capture feature quickly and easily stores credit card information - File attachments: upload photos, documents, and add notes to any record for reference - Protection features include 256-bit encryption and 2-factor authentication - Secure sharing: Safely share records with other SplashID users or even those who don’t use SplashID - Automatic SplashID Backup service to ensure data never gets lost - Security dashboard provides usage statistics and tools to monitor and fix weak, reused, and old passwords - Web autofill saves typing in usernames, passwords, and delivers the correct address from the secure data vault every time to prevent phishing - SplashID extension available for autofill in Safari Lock your personal information up in a state-of-the-art data saver and feel comfortable knowing that at any time you can access private information safely. This used to be a useful app. But I had to delete it after I found there was no way to use this app when completely offline (zero WiFi during first launch) on my new iPhone.

I feel the price is readable to always have my passwords available. I find when I’m not busy, don’t need at as much, but when I have 15 things to do in a day o can’t remember my passwords. It’s on my phone and my both my computers. Soconvenient.

Hi, I am a new customer of Splash ID and it keeps asking me for my password whenever I try to sign up as a new customer... keeps sending me a password hint but I never before signed up to use this app before... how do I get logged into this app so I can start using it for the first time?

I first used SplashID on a PalmPilot and have continued to use it on a succession of phones (Apple and Android) and computers (PC and Mac). I like the ability have the same info available on desk and portable systems. SplashData folks have responded to any and all questions quickly and been able to resolve any issues.

I have been using SplashID for years and recommend it unreservedly. It has followed me from Android to iPhone, Windows to Mac, without missing a beat. Easy to use and well worth the money.

The cloud data sharing capability across multiple devices is its strength. The developer is slow in supporting new iOS features.
  • Doesn’t sync

I have used this product for years because I couldn’t find anything better but it DOES NOT SYNC ACROSS PLATFORMS (Macs and iPhones). I have been working with their lousy tech support again for months now and they can’t make it work. I’ve had this problem for years. The data gets out of sync and their solution is to manually enter the missing records into each instance that is missing the records. WHY AM I PAYING $20 per year for a product that doesn’t work as advertised. They tried to tell me it was probably because I had some records marked as “local only” but I didn’t. Then they said export a CSV from the one that had the most records and import it into the others. This didn’t take into account that the largest one didn’t necessarily have ALL of my records, which it didn’t. They don’t know what they are doing. I’ve finally given up and switched to Enpass. Sync seems to work and it’s only a one time cost, not annual, and will pay for itself in just over a year. Plus it can import my SplashID data. Good riddance.

This app is frustratingly weak. It often has problems opening and doesn’t sync well.
