  • Great app even without premium

I started using this with a goal to track my calories purely to see how much I was consuming in a day and then quickly made a decision to try and loose a few pounds. This app really helped me know what I was eating so I could give and take with different things. Like removing certain things and adding others. To be fair you could also use most food tracking apps for this same thing but I feel like I have been really happy. My favorite function is you can connect it to a smart watch and it will more efficiently track your caloric burn goals from living regular life and well as auto adding any workouts you do.
  • The app doesn’t deduct the calories burned from exercise.

It imports my swimming exercise from my Apple Watch but doesn’t reduce the calories. Trying to contact customer service, which is nonexistent you just write a message and it comes up with articles that don’t relate to your question. If anyone knows how to import the exercise from your Apple Watch, will you please post it on review?

I’ve been using this app for over a year. It really helps me to stay in my caloric range. My pounds have been dropping slowly over the year but they stay off. It’s a good app to use if you are serious about weight loss. There are thousands of foods already listed when you type in a food which makes it very easy also many restaurants are also listed. I highly recommended Lose it!

I’ve been using LoseIt for several years now. I have to say I love it. It’s helping me be more mindful of what I eat and drink. I must personally cheer myself on cause I’ve lost weight while using this app and hope to continue. Others should try it too. What do you have to lose? Hahaha.
  • Love the Lose It app!

Apple Watch app is basic. Frankly iPad and phone apps better than web tool!
  • Needs: Water update and Nutrients feature

Been using for several years. Plus: database extensive and scanner super fast after last update Two main drawbacks: #1: Water logging feature is NOT helpful. When you scan a water bottle, the app does not update your water intake. You have to then go and manually add it. Manually adding water is a pain. You have to click in 8 oz increments or do MATH to update your total. You cannot see a default water bottle size, like if you always drink from 20 oz mug then you should be able to set a one-click for that. (Also: MATH.) #2: app does not tract vitamin nutrients. I can log a multivitamin but cannot see anything in my nutrient log, like how much vitamin B I’ve had for the day. I posted the water complaint a loong time ago and they’ve ignored it so go get you an 8 oz travel bottle.

I like this app the best after trying several, however in this day and age many ppl are looking to record way more information (such omegas and other micro nutrients) so I wish there was more detailed tracking. I’d sign up for life if so AND not everyone has the standard 24 hour life cycle yet everything resets at midnight! I wish there were a way to customize the Start and end to your day based on your SLEEP / WORK cycle. I work nights (8pm to 4am) so I’d like to be able to set my 24 hour days around this instead of the standard midnight to midnight.
  • Just a worse notes app

They removed the feature that allowed you to scan barcodes to add foods to you tracker, it’s now locked to premium and at this point If your not using premium you might as well just track your calories manually on paper or in the notes app
