    I have done a LOT in my search to loose the weight I need. This app has what I need and I have been the most successful through it. It has the social, the goals, the tracking, complete food library and ease of measurement in different ways (ounces, cups, item etc) stickers when you have accomplished a goal, and even notices connections to certain food you eat/days you are successful

    Eu comecei usar em janeiro/2020, estava com 56,7kg e com esse aplicativo eu cheguei a 50,5kg em 4 meses ainda não cheguei no resultado mais eu já havia tentado várias formas de emagrecer inclusive nutricionista e nada funcionou por que não havia consistência nas dietas, agora com acompanhamento diário eu tenho o equilíbrio para manter e não sair da linha, o que eu mais gosto é que eu estou sempre criando receitas e ele me ajuda a saber exatamente o que eu estou comendo me dando uma tabela nutricional para que eu possa saber quanto devo comer ou se devo comer.

    I’ve been using this app since it first came out more than 10 years ago and give it the highest recommendation. The developers have refined and perfected every aspect of the user interface to make it simple and intuitive. When I am faithful in recording my daily food and exercise, the app is faithful in keeping me on track and helping me lose and maintain my weight. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

    Lose it! is the tool that has kept 30 pounds off for 4 whole years. We thought we would try an app February 2017 to track our eating. My husband and I have tracked EVERY day for over 1,584 days!! No matter what we eat, we tracked it. When the weight starts creeping up, we looked in the summary and find out where we were going off path. We love everything about LOSE IT!

    I’ve struggled with my weight for 30+ years and tried almost ever diet out there. I’m not dieting any longer I’m just tracking on the loss it app. I’ve lost 33 pounds in 7 months. The app helps keep me accountable and is very easy to use. I recommend it to anyone who’s struggling with their weight or just wants to maintain where they’re at.
  • Latest update removes ability to create custom foods.

    June 2021 update: The LoseIt widget is no longer working on iPhones. The widget says that it cannot load the information. I’ve removed and reinstalled the widget a few times to see if this would fix it, but it doesn’t. Please address this issue! October 2020 update: It seems that the screens to join a Challenge are not working properly. Sometimes the buttons on the screen work and sometimes they don’t. I am unable to join a Challenge for the month of October because of this reason. Specifically, the JOIN button doesn’t respond. Other buttons to go view other Challenges also don’t work. November 2017 Update: The developers still have not addressed the concern where user-added food items are often incorrect and inaccurate. I wish there was a way that I could screen out those entries in the app. I don’t want to see the food items that other users have entered because I don’t trust their information or accuracy! To be quite honest, I wish they would take away the option for users to share their food entries with the entire community altogether. So much wrong information is being crammed into the food nutritional database that way. August 2016 Update: The app has improved since my last review in 2015. I'm glad the developers addressed all those issues that many others also complained about. One thing I wish they would do to improve the app would be to make an option to NOT see the foods that were added to the database by other users. Over time, the database is getting more and more crowded with inaccurate and incorrect entries from other users. Because of this reason, I do not want to see the entries made by other users and wish there was a way to screen them out. The most recent update in April 2015 is terrible! It removes the ability to add custom foods. I guess maybe they want you to use the built-in scanner and start scanning barcodes create new food items in your log. I don't like that. Invasion of privacy. Half the time the bar codes have incorrect information anyway regarding nutrients, calories, fat content, etc. I have learned the hard way NOT to automatically download and install an app update. Before downloading the recent massive LoseIt! update, I came on here to read the reviews about it. That's when I discovered the latest update ruined the app. So...I didn't bother downloading the update to my iPhone and, instead, will wait until an update is released that gets good reviews from other users. SO glad my LoseIt! app still measures food in cups, ounces, tablespoons, etc. and NOT in grams!

    I love this app! It’s so easy to use, it has everything I nee (water intake, calorie counter, adjustable calories per meal, custom # of meals, patterns, streaks, etc). The only thing that makes me unhappy is that it doesn’t have Russia as a choice of database! Being from Russia, loving Russian food, and visiting Russia, it is very hard to use this app in Russia! I would say it is soooo inconveniente that I decided to write a review! I am also a member, so I am sad that I can’t use this app while I’m in Russia.... please, fix this! And I will put a 5 start rating! Thank you.
