I’ve engaged services with Grubhub over three years! They have always met the high standard for excellence in time, follow-through and privacy! Only one time was my order missed, and they immediately assuaged feelings, got a new agent and delivered my Pappa John order! Very grateful when u was sick they were there for me!!

Worst Delivery Service Ever!!! Do Not Use!! They take your money and don’t deliver!!! Then when you call your account is locked. If I could give them - 5 stars I would. Run by china!!
Higher price compared to restaurant

It’s a legal issue that DoorDash is charging higher rates compared to restaurant. Restaurant says they are not involved in pricing. We need to file a legal case against such practices where in they are already charging service fee, delivery charges and taxes. On top you add tips.

I’ve ordered more DoorDash than grubhub by a long way, and especially in my town some restaurants get orders wrong decently often, some more than others. If an order is very wrong I usually say something, most often if an item is missing, a key ingredient (like a protein or a topping that costs extra) is missing, or an allergen is left in after ordering without. Even then I don’t always request. Door dash has almost never been a problem, in near thousands of orders over years. Grubhub, I order maybe 5-6 times in the last year, and refunded once (merchant cancelled order, automatic refund). Today my black bean chalupas have no black beans and customer service tells me no, I’ve had too many refunds, and when trying to explain that doesn’t make sense, they cut me off and two times hung up on me while I was trying to say “yes there is something else” (wanted to send in photos and confirm email for the potential 7-10 day appeal they mentioned). Twice! It’s either they encourage support to hang up on customers, or they get this kind of thing so often they just don’t care. I don’t care what an algorithm tells you, I always offer to take pictures any time something is received wrong, and you can’t charge me for something I don’t get. No other business can get away with that. I am dumb and paid debit so no chargeback option for me, but I’m deleting my account and the app no matter the resolution. I rarely used the app anyway because they’re more expensive and have fewer restaurants. Don’t make the mistake of trusting these people with your food let alone your credit card info. It also seems suspicious to me that all the 5 star reviews here are accompanied by very negative sounding reviews 🧐 Anyway, back to my $6 black bean-less black bean chalupas!
Update after developer response: Thanks for the wholly unhelpful response. Obviously I already contacted support or I wouldn’t be in this mess.

This company is run by some of the most evil people on the planet, intent on charging restaurants and consumers exorbitantly high fees and driving small businesses into the ground. Watch John Oliver’s piece about them, and you will never want to use Grubhub again. Every single person who works at Grubhub should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. We need to drive this company out of business.
On top of all that, they have horrible customer service. They don’t care about you or the restaurants they purport to serve. And they refuse to treat their delivery drivers as actual workers, depriving them of healthcare and other benefits, while the pieces of garbage at the very top line their pockets.

Customer service so shady that they hide their customer service number!!
If you have a problem with an order, they’ll close it on their end and there’s no way to get back to customer service. The app completely hides any way to contact anyone other than an AI chatbot, and once they decide to help or not help, you can no longer get back to customer service—the app redirects you to a splash screen saying your problem is resolved. The email confirmation they send you has a “contact us” link that automatically opens the app and takes you to that same splash screen saying your problem is resolved. You literally have to do research to find their phone number—they hide it from you.
Anyway, hope every single delivery is great for you because they do everything in their power to hide their contact info from you. Beware of partial refunds, make sure you discuss dollar amounts with the ai customer service bot before they lock you out!
