I've been using iBird for over five years now. It's a really great app and I love the interface, it's so easy to use. But it's getting a little long in the tooth, there hasn't been a major overhaul in a long time. If they gave it a real update I'd bump this up to five stars without hesitation. As it stands, I'm keeping it at three.

Had no idea how many different birds came through my yard until I started using this. I check it most mornings now. Only annoyance is I sometimes forget which filter I had set and have to reset it, but that's a minor gripe for something I use daily.

I'm on the water a lot and used to just wonder about the birds flying around. This has answered more questions than I expected over the past year. The app's a little slow to open sometimes on my older phone, but once it's up it's great.

I paddle local rivers on weekends and use this constantly to ID what I'm seeing. Info and sounds are excellent and the offline access is huge when I'm out of signal range. The menu layout takes some getting used to though, I still hit the wrong section half the time reaching for Sounds.

Taking bio classes right now and downloaded this for identification help. Became one of my go-to study tools pretty fast. Took me embarrassingly long to find the search filters though, buried a little deeper than I expected.

My dog walks turned into unofficial birdwatching once I got this app. Recognizes a lot of the morning birds for me now. Only real complaint is text size on some of the detail pages, I have to zoom in more than I'd like.

We're up at our cabin most weekends and this has become part of the routine. Species info is detailed and easy to follow. Navigation between screens isn't always intuitive, a few times I've had to back out and start over to find something I'd looked at before.

Our library runs nature programs and I've picked up a lot using this app. Species accounts are thorough without getting overly technical. Took me longer than expected to get comfortable with all the features, a short onboarding tour would've helped.

Crashes on launch. Has been broken for months. I reached out to them months ago but they never fixed it. Canceling my subscription

I originally signed up for this $50 app and then they went to a subscription canceling out my initial purchase purchase. Terrible
