FlightAware Flight Tracker

Update ruined a great app. Even going back to classic view no longer allows one to see clearly. Wish I had not updated.

I absolutely love this app, and it serves the purpose for me— better than any alternative. Unfortunately, the most recent update has introduced a couple of noticeable glitches. I’m sure these will be worked out, though.

For a person like me at age 77 I find Flight Aware is easy to understand and provide accurate information on this site.

UPDATED REVIEW-2024-WOW! (It appears, just like many other apps, this one has also been changed so much, it can longer be relied upon). Since I don’t fly much, re-uploading it to my phone, only when needed, it seems it’s changed a lot, since my last time using it, in August 2023. I’ve just re-uploaded it, (same phoen as before); paid yearly subscription in full; wish I hadn’t!). This app has become nearly impossible to use. It gives wrong flight Information (including Flight numbers, for exact same route number, specific airports, by same airline, at a specific date/time). God forbid, if I forget the flight number on my airline’s app, for anytime I have both up, and I move from this app’s screen, just to peek to ensure I’ve the correct flight number, and departure time, it keeps defaulting to ALL Airlines, ALL flights, I must keep filtering it, all over again. It’s no longer as easy to use, nor as intuitive, as it once was. Finding flights at a future date, has become super-cumbersome. (To be fair, I don’t fly often, and do offload it, when not using it, so my phone screens are less cluttered), and re-upload it; paying for it, again, when there is a planned trip). I’ll have to find a new, better one, this one can no longer be trusted, (nor easily set up future flights, with the correct flight, date and time), it is useless, if one cannot rely on it, as in the past. Perhaps it’s my not using it often, and for this reason, new features may not be easily found, that It may appear as buggy as it is. === PREVIOUS REVIEW-2013 - This App has helped me stay informed even when the airline itself hadn't yet notified of delays and/cancellations. (Once, one flight was 2-1/2 behind schedule, and I knew why. This knowledge alone, helped me remain patient and not fret). Highly recommended.

So I tried a ton of stuff and a ton of different methods but no matter what I do when I open the app it just goes instantly to a loading screen that goes forever, I’m on an iPhone 8 (which might explain it idk) I have the latest iOS update so idk why it’s doing that Update: The developers fixed the bug and the app works now, nice job!
