I have had this app for years now. Only complaint is that if I am not at home it often will not work, not sure why..even if I have WiFi?

  • Notifications stopped then started

The app is set to give scores and news updates for several of my favorite teams across multiple sports. Suddenly a few days ago notifications turned off for all teams and I couldn’t turn them back on no matter what I tried. Then they came back unexpectedly. It’s frustrating. As long as that feature works, the app is fine. Otherwise the app is just okay.
  • An app to watch endless commercials

Watched about 18 consecutive commercials in ten minutes before I turned this garbage off.

I’m thrilled that I can now watch my Broncos LIVE. I live in Georgia and I couldn’t watch them, until ESPN came into my life. I receive alerts and a link straight to the game. HALLELUJAH
  • Stop bothering me and remember my settings

I gave this app two stars just because it kept constantly badgering me to rate it. Also, it just never seems to remember me and my settings. This isn’t rocket science, people.
  • The worst

I have no idea how this app has 4.5 stars. It’s the worst in every way. It’s the slowest ever. Every time you exit the app and reopen it, it starts back to the beginning as if you just opened the app. Then you have to go through the process of clicking on sports, finding the game you had previously been looking it. Such a hassle. So if you’re looking for a good sports app, this isn’t it. I use yahoo sports
  • Weird controls, autoplay on Open is annoying

AppleTV review Why does the AppleTV remote pause button work only to pause but not resume? Who the heck thought that was a good idea? Why can I only scroll forward on the touch control surface in video when I’m paused? When you open the app, it starts playing audio from whatever is on ESPN. (I think. I never confirm the channel.). That’s annoying. The shows in the ESPN+ section randomly move all over the place from day to day. I only have a few things I like to watch but I am always hunting around for where they went today. That’s what will end up making me quit the app and service. The video itself is fine but you can’t see what the resolution is nor specify a desired resolution either.

  • ESPN frustrations...

Typically an informative site for sports junkies, but frustration comes along for the ride now and in the the past. Articles are not equally accessible unless you happen to own the right of access favored at a given moment. First there was ESPN Insider, which came along with subscriptions for ESPN, THE MAGAZINE. But, there is the yearly nuisance of having to call ESPN ‘world headquarters’ in Bristol, CT to select online service access in lieu of the print magazine which is simply too wasteful of trees in general, especially when judged against its value as compared with online access granted along with the subscription. SI classic it is not. Now, there’s ESPN+. When will the subscription carousel stop? Simplify, simplify, simplify!
