  • Not enthralled at this point

I always come back and edit my reviews so it’s likely I’ll follow up on this one. I’ve had about two weeks of usage thus far and found a few things that have disturbed me greatly. The first was using the alarm. It woke me not at a point of light sleep gently but startled me awake in a period of an intense dream leaving me with a racing heart, disorientation, and that heavy limbs feeling. Like any awakening in a deep dream state, I was a zombie for quite a while after. The next event was the app showing me deeply asleep during a time my alarm was triggered by someone opening a window. I got up and had a conversation and yet I was apparently asleep the whole time. I would have chalked this up to a vivid dream except my alarm system data proved it actually happened. There’s a log of the alarm, plus the phone call from the security company. Then, it happened again. My spouse awakened me when he got up. I sat up, talked with him, drank water from a bedside glass, but app said I was asleep. Not a dream. Spouse clearly recalls conversation. He has the app also with same aberrant data. Getting up to bathroom. Not shown. Getting up for opening the window which set off the alarm — we were both awake. Both phones should show this, neither does. After the first near heart attack awakening with the alarm, I haven’t tried it again. I wrote to customer service about this. The replies dismissed my concerns. I felt they were condescending and skirted the issue. I’m still in the trial so I've decided to not continue. We installed the app to try to make sense of the disturbance in our sleep to each other due to snoring, having to walk to alleviate a cramp, thirst or needing a bathroom visit. But apparently I slept through my blaring siren of my alarm, was sleep drinking, my husband who snores like a chainsaw apparently doesn’t snore, and the list goes on. It may be an alarm clock but I’ll just stick with my phone or my Echo spot.
  • No longer useful

Very disappointed that the trends section is now a premium feature. It was a key portion of the app, and now it is no longer accessible unless you pay $30/yr, which simply isn’t feasible for most people. The app does not give you enough information to make it worth that amount of money. I would be willing to watch ads or something to unlock the trends section, but I do not expect to use this app very often anymore without the trends section. It’s a shame, because I used to use it almost every night.
  • Really nice app

    This is works unbelievably
  • Perfect for me but why only 3 stars?

    By Suzidoer
This app I have had for 2-3 years and it is perfect for my lifestyle of being a dedicated mom and wife and is up at 5 to make hot breakfast every school morning. It’s wonderful to wake slowly, pray while waking, and remind myself to be grateful today and other good thoughts about others rather than focusing on myself in my head. The app does exactly what it says and I have never had it go off by accident in middle of night. I have an iPhone 10x and I have a charger pad I set it on. So why not 5 stars? Because the shut off alarm button is too small for eyes and no matter how I try, I can never get the stupid button to slide easily and SHUT OFF ALREADY. I want a simple big fat button that when I finally get out of bed after tapping it to snooze a few times, I CAN STOP IT and close the app. Trying to slide up screen from the bottom of the iPhone to close the app is so hard when sleepy and fingers not working properly. Why not 5 stars? Because in trying to shut off my phone because I couldn’t get the app to close and alarm to stop when I reached for it on my dresser, I somehow called 911. I have used the app nightly despite this because it is so effective in help waking me up happy. I am definitely no longer happy.
  • Love it

I love sleep cycle so much! I think it’s so interesting to look at how I slept and learn more about my habits. The only issue I’ve been having is that it keeps telling me that there were too few movements? That usually comes along with a warning that the information is not really correct until I fix the issue. I’ve tried to move my phone, put it on the table, on my bed, closer, farther, but nothing seems to be working. I still love looking at the chart though. Overall it’s still great.
  • Love the “Tap” snooze!!

  • Great but I thing

I really like this app but i wish you would make it possible to turn off the do not disturb. I am a medical professional and need my phone to ring or go off when I receive messages when i am on call. I may have to discontinue use of the app due to this
  • My struggle

    By Mama Hatz
I like it but when I wake up at night and can’t sleep I like to listen to Netflix with ear phones on my phone. Which I can’t if I want this app to pay attention to me. That’s the only bummer. All or nothing
  • Ugggg

You know the feeling when your so excited about something, just to have it blow up in your face, well if you like that feeling get this app. I’m only 12, so I might just not know how to work it, but I can’t even get it to track my sleep! So I thought “Okay I’ll just use it as an alarm” but even there the alarm/ringer thing didn’t even turn on! And I had my ringer on. This app makes me so agitated! Do not get this app!!!!
