  • Keep getting asked to share sounds

I pay for the subscription and I’m trying to label my sounds but it recently started asking me to share them every time I try to label them. I hit no and try again and the prompt appears again. I’m sorry I don’t feel comfortable with sharing and now it feels like I’m being forced to if I want that feature.
  • This app has made me sad

I bought this app years ago. Several years after, I decided to splurge on a Hue bridge and bulb so I could wake up for work more easily in my dim and dark room. With much fuss I was able to get it connected, and was delighted. It DID help! With all later changes (replaced phone, moved), I’ve never again been able to get the app and the bridge to work. Deleted it (lost my data) to try to fix it - on several occasions. Restarted bridge. Full resets on both devices. You name it, threefold. A few weeks ago, I noticed new metrics were showing for me - ambient noise, breathing rate, etc. I grew to enjoy them. I was pretty confused because as a scummy early adopter, I thought I was barred from “premium” features. But there they were. Imagine my disappointment. I don’t know what I was thinking, but some hopeful shred left within me decided to try to fix the Hue issue. As if the first seven hundred attempts were flukes. Guess who deleted Sleep Cycle during the process to try to fix the issue? So sad that by restoring my purchase, all of those fancy features were lost. Kind of a final kick in the teeth with all of this. Instead of a subscription, I have decided to save up for a second hue lightbulb. Since Hue doesn’t work with the app, I don’t want to feel like I stretched my budget during those hard times a few years back for nothing. May as well embrace it. My only hope at this point, regarding Sleep Cycle, is that I won’t be plagued by advertisements to subscribe to premium when I glance at the app immediately upon waking. What a bummer.
  • Subscription is the reason

I didn’t even try this app. Why? Because there is a subscription waiting at the the end of the free trial. I don’t have the patience to sign up, try it and then hopefully remember to prevent subscription from taking effect. I despise the new trend of subscriptions. It’s absolutely terrible. Everyone living off subscriptions, wondering where all their money is going. It’s financially stupid. I deleted it.
  • Works great!

I just wish it didn’t push the paid version so hard
  • Stop trying to shove “premium” in my face

I paid for this app LONG ago, before they went to subscription based, and am getting tired of seeing upselling ads popping up when I open it— trying to get me to give them more money when I am one of the few who helped them to get off the ground in the first place. Drop the ads for users who already paid before it became a monthly stipend in an already taxing economy!
  • They put a lot of effort into hating on early supporters.

They put a lot of effort into hating on early supporters. I paid to purchase this when it was new and for years now they’ve spammed me and made the experience progressively worse in the name of pushing me to pay monthly. Super annoying!
  • Not free??!! 😡😡

I just wanted to see my sleep schedule and stuff, and I have to pay just to see the actual app?! As soon as the app opens it just takes me straight to the free trial thing, and I can’t X out of it!! Is there a free version?

I’ve noticed that when I’m unable to sleep, even when I get up snd take the phone with me, it still registers that I’m asleep If I play a podcast it sometimes will register talking but still records it as sleep How do I let the app know I’m awake?
  • It wakes you up in the middle of the night if you’re phone is low battery

Ive been woken up in the middle of the night multiple times by the battery alarm. frankly this is a really terrible idea for an app that is meant to help you sleep better. there’s no warning about it, the alarm is a lot more disruptive than the normal wakeup alarm, and you don’t get to control when it goes off. I care about my sleep more than having this app on in the background, like id assume everyone else does? Seems like a lazy, not very thought out feature. Same with sleepgpt, why does it keep calling me sleeping beauty? Like what is the point of it
