Do not waste your money on zoosk. So so many fake or unused accounts. You can’t block them so you have to scroll through 100s just get to accounts you haven’t seen already. I had to send each messages 10-15 times before they finally were delivered. The same accounts view your account over and over and over until you finally block them because you know they’re not real. I’d remove a view and two minutes later that person would view me. Over and over. Such a fake site. I don’t think there are many subscribers. No one responds to messages. Save your money. Please hear me in that you’ll be disappointed if you spend money here. Update: Furthermore a week before my subscription ended and the day they responded to this review, they blocked my account. No reasons given. I contacted them and was told it was blocked due to inconsistencies. I hadn’t changed anything. Told me I had to send a copy of my drivers license. Front and back. SCAMMERS. DO NOT USE. Now they won’t respond to me. They said 24-48 hours for a response and it’s been 72 hours with no response.

They get you to buy it by using a bot to send you a message and you can only read it if you pay subscription. You also only see the same 10 people over and over

This is long but bear with me. It could be useful info. Many dating apps have their manipulative, little marketing ploys designed to get you to subscribe and continue to subscribe by dangling false hope like a shiny fishing lure. I.e. The day your subscription expires you suddenly have more likes and messages than received during the entire length of subscription. Of course you can’t see these “sudden suitors” or read msgs. It’s absolutely insulting, but certainly not unique. The knee-jerk impulse to give them more money in order to respond is exactly what they’re hoping for. I know, because I’ve fallen for it. So you sign back up only to find its either profiles you’ve already passed on, ones that are thousands of miles away, despite your specific settings, or worse, not even real. But what separates Zoosk from other abhorrent dating apps (ie ONCE, thats Zoosk runs ads for) is their contemptible cowardice. They censor even the most benign comments made about them. Thought I’d try and have a little fun at the expense. In the icebreaker section, I chose two truths a lie… “I was an alternate on the US Olympic table tennis team. I cannot see messages, and Zoosk won’t even allow me to tell you that without paying for another subscription. I will not give them any more money” This was reviewed and denied by Zoosk. I tried a sarcastic approach on my next attempt… “Water is wet, the sky is blue(sometimes grey) & Zoosk is so great the way they allow us to read new msgs and stay in touch with people even after subscription expires.” Reviewed and denied. They sent an email saying in order to avoid being declined again, follow the guidelines…… Don’t include your full name. ✅ Don’t include your contact information including phone number, and email ✅ Don’t include any profanity, or sexually explicit remarks✅ I’ve sent numerous emails to Zoosk asking exactly which one of these guidelines was broken. They have not replied to any of them. Certain there will be a response from them following this cathartic rant, toting the company line,”Sorry you’ve had an unfortunate experience…blah, blah, blah.” They’re only sorry this was made public, in a place they can’t control.

This app was the worst waste of money, I was on this app for 2 months. Most guys treat women like they are animals in the Zoo and just came to look at what is in the Zoo. Some just send you a heart and if you massage them you hear nothing back. I am not an ugly woman. This app wastes peoples time and money! If your looking for results go elsewhere, if you are looking for games, you’ve got the right app to waste your money on! Absolutely a Zoo!

Do *NOT* download this app. Without exaggeration, almost every single profile is a fake profile/bot. Beyond that, the UI is confounding. For some reason, after you like someone, they don’t leave your feed. It will show you all of the people you have already liked. In fact, you have to scroll past them to see new people. This app is disastrous and subscribing does not fix it. Beware.

Joined the app and paid to upgrade to premium since they showed 10 messages for me. Paid for the upgrade and still couldn’t see messages. Contacted their support email several times. Never heard back. Deleted the app and realized I just wasted a bunch of money to be ripped off. The most sorry experience I have had I. A while. Will never use this garbage again.

lol this is a joke you can’t even send a message to anyone unless you pay to subscribe than what’s the point of the app? I’m not paying to chat with meaningless connections that won’t go anywhere but hi how are you chat.

Every time I minimize the app the audio stops playing Update: Meetme and Skout both are able to continue playing stream audio while the apps are in the background so Zoosk must be able to do it as well. This is not a customer support issue. This is an ability of the app that requires to be enabled by developers that put out app updates in the App Store. This is an upgrade for the user interface. I doubt customer support has the ability to enable something like app audio.
