I am changing my rating from 5 stars to 4 stars, because one feature is missing: dark/night mode. This has been a standard feature in all the operating systems I use. If I want to read a meditation or reflection during the evening or night hours, I must copy and paste the text to an app that has dark/night mode. Once dark/night mode is enabled, I will change my rating back to 5 stars.

No better way to start and end day, than with God’s Word. This is my daily companion to keep me on track or to bring me back on track with Jesus.

I can no longer upload my Magnificat app without to my iPhone or iPad. Please help me!!

Can’t download Oct ‘23 issue due to an “error loading” problem and, in status of memory setting, there is the same message. Deleted and reinstalled app and still have same issues. Please help!

I love the Magnificate but when I first used it you used to be able to stretch the page and make it larger like you can for the back of the book for the pictures or the front or the calendar why can you not make it stretch on day in day out date’s. Your size font is very small. I have set at +++ I also use I Breviary it has good text size. Can you make some upgrades so I can use Magnificat Thanks Martin

They will not download, in spite of repeated canned responses from developer to “check status of memory.” You will be asked to pay (a second time) for the issue. Apple will not refund your payment, even though this and similar problems have been reported here numerous times in customer reviews.

Purchased the July Magnificat; purchase was confirmed. Opened the app, tapped to download July issue; downloading circle started but never went further. Checked “status of memory page;” I am being asked to pay $1.99 again. I tried force-restart and delete-app/force-restart/reinstall to no avail. Very disappointing. I wrote the developer, but given the reviews here about the app breaking, I’m not very hopeful. A pity. Used to be a great app. App v. us.5.3.0.14; iPhone12; iOS v. 16.6

Have not been able to log in on the app since the beginning of June :( I can log in on the website with no problem. I have a paid online subscription. I even tried deleting & reinstalling the app. It’s been about 2 weeks now. I reached out to Magnificat yesterday by email, waiting to hear back. I rely a lot on the Magnificat app for daily prayer as well as a worship aid for Mass. Very disappointing, hope to hear back from them soon to fix the issue!

I doubt this is a scam but terrible execution and a waste of money. I have a receipt from the App Store, so I know the transaction went through but I have no way to log in. I tried entering all my info and email and Magnificat says I have no account and offers no help. I even went to the website trying to work this out and still no way to log in. Fortunately I’m only out $1.99 because I thought I’d give it a test drive before plunging in with an annual subscription and now that’s not happening. LOL

The last month or two it just shows a blank page for whatever section I select. I have tried the workarounds mentioned in others reviews but it doesn’t work. Guess I’m cancelling this app even though my subscription is good until October 2023. It’s not a huge financial loss but I can’t believe I can’t use it any more. It was a very useful tool during Mass forms but not any more. Hope they get it fixed for others.
